Amy Robach Is Officially Divorced From Andrew Shue
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Robach, who was recently spotted on the streets of New York with her lover, Holmes, has finally finalized her divorce from ex Shue.
The pair were married for 12 years up until Robach filed for divorce last year amid then rumors of her relationship with her “GMA3” co-anchor
The estranged couple allegedly privately worked out their agreement through mediation and resolved to keep joint custody of their pet dogs.
Other details in the divorce agreement, such as the splitting of assets, are still unclear, as the duo is yet to share any info with the media.
Holmes and Shue had no children during their marriage. But, the former Melrose Place actor has two daughters with ex-husband Tim McIntosh, Ava and Analise.
Shue, for his part, is a father to three boys, Nathaniel, Aiden, and Wyatt, whom he shares with Jennifer Hageney.
‘It’s An Awfully Sad End’
A source close to the couple has weighed in on the divorce since it made headlines.
“It’s an awfully sad end to what was a great marriage,’ a close friend told the Daily Mail. “Andrew was so into her.”
“But at least they worked out their split through mediation rather than some ugly legal battle. And they sorted out the custody of Brody.”
During the process of finalizing their divorce, Shue and Robach have been spotted on occasions meeting up to drop off and pick up their pet dog.
This comes after they both moved out of their apartment, which was later sold in December 2022.
At the time, an insider shared that the duo’s marriage was no longer working, and their relationship had issues for years.
The insider said, per Page Six, “They’ve constantly had problems over the years, and they finally broke up.”
Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes Spotted In Public
Amid news that her divorce has been finalized, Robach was spotted hanging out with Holmes on the streets of New York City. Pictures of the duo walking arm in arm showed that the former anchorwoman, Robach, was in high spirits, beaming endlessly at her beau.
Her outfit was informal and comfortable, consisting of a black and white quarter-zip fleece, joggers, and a pair of sneakers. Meanwhile, Holmes also donned similar casual clothing, sporting a blue tracksuit, denim jacket, and sneakers.
Unlike Robach, his divorce from attorney Marilee Fiebig, with whom he has a 10-year-old daughter, has yet to be finalized.
Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes Are Pitching A New Show
While Robach and Holmes’s romance has blossomed more and more in the past weeks, the duo are yet to solve their unemployment problem after being fired from ABC due to their illicit affair.
However, that status quo might change soon as the former “GMA3” co-anchors have been pitching a new show to network execs to get them back on TV.
Per Page Six, they have talked with the producers behind “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” hoping a deal can be reached.
A source close to the couple revealed that the duo are ready to “welcome ongoing coverage” of their romance” if it would boost their chances.
“It’s easier for them to pitch a show if they stay in the news, and they think they’re rock stars. They’re selling their chemistry,” the source said. “They absolutely believe that their chemistry would sell, because it sold at ABC.”
Besides the “Ellen” show producers, Robach and Holmes have also reportedly been pitching their idea for a TV show to big networks like NBC, CNN, and CBS.
