A source close to the couple has weighed in on the divorce since it made headlines.

"It's an awfully sad end to what was a great marriage,' a close friend told the Daily Mail. "Andrew was so into her."

"But at least they worked out their split through mediation rather than some ugly legal battle. And they sorted out the custody of Brody."

While Robach and Holmes's romance has blossomed more and more in the past weeks, the duo are yet to solve their unemployment problem after being fired from ABC due to their illicit affair.

However, that status quo might change soon as the former "GMA3" co-anchors have been pitching a new show to network execs to get them back on TV.

Per Page Six, they have talked with the producers behind "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," hoping a deal can be reached.

A source close to the couple revealed that the duo are ready to "welcome ongoing coverage" of their romance" if it would boost their chances.

Besides the "Ellen" show producers, Robach and Holmes have also reportedly been pitching their idea for a TV show to big networks like NBC, CNN, and CBS.
