Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are attempting to get "Ellen" producers to back their proposed show. The duo has reportedly pitched to the showrunners and tried convincing them that their chemistry will help sell the show.
It is alleged that the duo might soon run out of money following their dismissal from ABC, which is partly assumed to be the reason they are aggressively searching for sponsors.

'They're Selling Their Chemistry'
Robach and Holmes are pushing ahead with plans to get a show of their own and have reportedly held talks with the producers behind "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
A source shared with Page Six that the couple "welcome ongoing coverage" of their romance," hoping it will clinch them a hot new TV deal.
"It's easier for them to pitch a show if they stay in the news, and they think they're rock stars. They're selling their chemistry," the insider told the news outlet.
The source also noted that the pair are using this approach because it worked for them while they were anchors at ABC.
Their chemistry was even commented on by showrunners at the network before the duo was eventually fired due to their affair causing a media storm.
"They absolutely believe that their chemistry would sell, because it sold at ABC," the insider added.
Are Amy Robach And T.J. Holmes Broke?
Per Page Six, another source shared insight into why the duo is pushing for the show, hinting that they need new jobs before they spend through their reserve funds.
"Whatever deal they got from ABC is not going to sustain them," the insider said about the couple, who reportedly received a massive payout from the network upon their termination.
While Robach and Holmes continue to seek sponsors for their proposed show, they will take some time out to once again participate in a half marathon in New York City.
According to reports, the pair will be part of the first set of people to hit the road when the event kicks off early on Sunday morning. They participated in the same event last year and reportedly began to grow passionate about each other at the time.
However, a source close to the couple refuted the claim when the duo's affair made headlines.
Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes' First Couple Outing
Robach and Holmes' participation in the marathon comes after the duo was seen attending the memorial service of Howard Bagman.
Bragman was a crisis public relations expert and activist most recognized for his work with LGBTQ celebrities who publicly disclosed their sexuality. He also worked as a consultant for ABC News, where Holmes and Robach once starred as the co-anchors of its "Good Morning America" show.
"I couldn't believe it was them! I didn't even know they were in LA," a source at the ceremony to Page Six.
The source added, "They looked like … they weren't inappropriate, but she was in this wrap dress that was very short, and they just looked like this hot couple. There was no shame in their game," the source said.
Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes Like Flaunting Their Love
Robach and Holmes have spent a chunk of their time since their dismissal from ABC fanning the flames of their love even in public settings.
The pair recently vacationed in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for several days, enjoying all the location had to offer, including trips to the beach.
They also engaged in steamy PDA several times during the trips, as pictures of the duo locking lips at the poolside and during a bar outing made headlines.
Even back home in New York, the duo have been seen walking hand in hand on the streets.
While they are yet to publicly disclose whether they plan on making their relationship permanent, this might be the next step in their love life once their divorce from their previous partners is finalized.
