Chris Appleton Declares He Is 'Very Much In Love' With Lucas Gage, Confirms Romance

Chris Appleton has subtly confirmed that he is in a relationship with Lukas Gage.

The celebrity hairstylist and the actor recently shared pictures of themselves having fun during a vacation in Mexico, fueling rumors that they are an item.

Speaking on "The Drew Barrymore Show," Appleton shared that he is "very much in love" and opened up about connecting deeply with someone.

Gage previously said in an interview that he had a problem with the "culture of everyone needing to know everybody's business" amid rumors that he was dating Appleton.

During his recent appearance on "The Drew Barrymore Show," Appleton confirmed his relationship with Gage.

Host Barrymore had asked him if he was dating anyone, to which he responded that he is "very much in love" and feels "very grateful to be able to share [his] time with someone very special."

He added, "Love is a really special thing, and I think meeting someone that you really connect with is really really special."

To show viewers who Appleton was referring to, Barrymore displayed a vacation photo of the British celebrity hairstylist and his boo on the screen. She also gushed loudly over the couple's cuteness.

"Oh my god look at you guys!" the actress said aloud. "OK, and his name is Lukas Gage … looking like an ad for something I just want to be a part of."

Appleton and Gage were linked after the two shared snaps on Instagram from their vacation at a resort in Mexico.

In one of the photographs, the pair posed for the camera while sitting atop an ATV. In another, they were seen wearing helmets with bandanas covering their faces for a selfie shot.

A photo of the duo standing shirtless in the ocean while donning a pair of shades was also included in the uploaded snaps.

Gage shared the holiday pictures with a declaration of love and affection. The "White Lotus" star captioned his post by tagging his boyfriend Appleton, "the best @chrisappleton1 #stregispuntamita @stregispuntamit."

The famous hairstylist, who has worked with Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez, also posted similar photos from their holiday with the caption "Joyride."

Despite sharing pictures of themselves hanging out on social media, Appleton and Gage have mostly avoided naming each other in the press.

In Gage's recent interview with The New York Times, the actor revealed that he would not refute or confirm rumors about him dating Appleton.

"If they want to think that, they can," he said, per Page Six. "I'm a pretty open book about most things in my life, but I have a problem with the culture of everyone needing to know everybody's business, and nothing can be sacred. It's a weird line that I'm still trying to figure out."

Still, Appleton added more fuel to the rumors by reacting to the NYT interview on his Instagram story with the caption "Hot & Talented" alongside a fire emoji.

Last month, Gage opened up about his budding career, which includes notable appearances in two hit series, "You" and White Lotus."

"I do think everything works out the way it's supposed to, but I wasn't always able to see that," the actor told The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm getting better at it every year. The older I get, the more I realize I have no control over anything."

Gage also compared the uncertainties in building his career with the arduous task of finding a partner.

He continued, "It's kind of like dating — when you're seeking a partner, you never find somebody. People can feel that you're trying too hard."

Elsewhere in the interview, the actor shared some advice to other talents seeking stardom, saying that the "best thing" they should do is "to build a full life outside of your work and have your work be just a part of that life."
