Britney Spears Shares A ‘Different Edit’ Dancing In A Sheer Dress

Singer Britney Spears was pretty busy on Instagram on Thursday night!

In addition to sharing another edit of her 2003 song "The Hook Up," the 41-year-old pop star also uploaded numerous photos of her standing in front of the camera in a red dress. Unfortunately, she didn't add a caption to any of them!

In her latest Instagram video, the "Hold Me Closer" singer posted a 59-second-long video clip set to her song "The Hook Up." She is dancing in front of the camera in a strapless sheer dress with a glittering skirt that she tugged up in front of her body several times.

She clipped her hair back out of her face and accessorized her look with black strappy heels. In the caption, she wrote, “Different edit of 'The Hook Up' ???‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️ !!!”

There are a few differences between her last post to this one. In this post, she spent a bit more time directly in front of the camera. At one point, she leans into the camera to apply her makeup from a compact.

The "Toxic" singer has disabled comments on her Instagram posts since the start of the new year, so fans have been unable to leave comments on her latest posts.

On Sunday, March 5, the "Overprotected" singer took to Instagram to share another video of her dancing to "The Hook Up." Britney is wearing the same outfit, heels, and has the same hair as in the first video.

One of the biggest differences in this edit of the video is that Britney seems to do a lot more dancing in this one, swinging her arms around her body. At one point, she even grabs her chest and tries to do a body roll in front of the camera.

This video is a bit longer than the last one, clocking in at one minute and ten seconds. In the caption, Britney wrote, “Had to try it with this dress on ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️ !!!”

In a since-deleted Twitter thread, the “Oops!..I Did It Again” singer explained why she doesn't allow comments on her Instagram page anymore and why she deactivated her account for several days at the end of January.

“I shut down my Instagram because there were too many people saying I looked like an idiot dancing and that I looked crazy,” Britney wrote at the time. “Honestly I was doing my best but it disturbed me to see people freely talk about it on TV … yep it hurt my feelings.”

In addition to her dancing in a gold dress, the "Baby One More Time" singer also posted several photos that featured her wearing a strapless red dress. Her hairstyle is a bit different than in her dancing video, although her bangs are still clipped back out of her face.

It looks like Britney is still in the same room, however, judging from the circular rug on the floor to her left and the painting in the background. Unfortunately, she did not put a caption in any of her posts. Although Britney has been known for her lengthy captions, they seem to have gotten shorter and shorter lately, except for a recent post about "enlightenment."

On Tuesday, March 7, Britney took to Instagram to share a quote about enlightenment from Sri Ravi Shankar, which read, "Meditation is the journey from sound to silence, from movement to stillness, from a limited identity to unlimited space."

"This quote really resonated with me !!! The world can be so loud at times !!!" Britney wrote in the caption. "When I meditate in silence, I become the most enlightened ??‍♀️ !!! Everything seems to be more clear and my mind feels still. Enlightenment to me is higher consciousness … which I personally think brings me closer to God or some say connected to the universe !!!"

"I choose not to speak on religion because most get offended when others discuss their beliefs …. I’m just sharing my passion for meditation cause it’s simply changed my life the past few years !!!" she explained. "I breathe deeper and I have a more caring attitude towards others and myself. Learning self-love is one of life’s most beautiful treasures !!!!"

"Sometimes the world can be pretty d--- cruel … finding strength through meditation and prayer has changed my life," she concluded. "I want to share this because I simply care … have a blessed day ??? !!!!"

Britney left comments on the post for about an hour before she disabled them.
