The former 'Bachelorette' experienced two break-ups during her time within Bachelor Nation; The 26-year-old was first introduced to Bachelor Nation as she competed for Clayton Echard's heart on "The Bachelor." The duo nearly made it to the 'finish line' of getting engaged, but Echard's heart was famously elsewhere.

Recchia's heartbreak ultimately helped her land a joint season of "The Bachelorette" with her bestie and fellow ex-girlfriend of Echard's, Gabby Windey. The pilot's heartbreak was briefly mended by her romance with her front-runner contestant Tino Franco, but the duo would end their engagement after cheating reports emerged on Franco's part.

The 'Bachelorette' alumna has been candid in sharing her healing and dating journey with her social media followers.

Recchia recently gave social media a glimmer of a potential second-chance romance, when she and her bestie, Michelle Young, hung out with their mutual ex. Echard was first introduced to Bachelor Nation as a contestant of Young's season of "The Bachelorette."

Recchia quickly shut down rumors of a reconciliation with Echard in an Instagram story slide. She maintained to her fans she was in the midst of her "healing era," revealing she needed a lot of time to ruminate on healing and forgiveness.

Echard recently described the duo's highly-publicized encounter as being extremely healing for him. According to our recent report on Echard's point of view, he detailed how Recchia's forgiveness was an instrumental component of his own healing journey.

"That conversation was so powerful," he recalled to Us Weekly, of their exchange. He would later say, "...For her to forgive me and tell me that, 'Hey, I understand, and I don't hold this against you any longer,' that was probably one of the best things I could have heard..."

In order to get to her current place of healing and to have reached a mutual reconciliation with Echard, the 'Bachelorette' beauty inevitably had to learn some hard lessons along the way.

In an Instagram story Q and A session, one of Recchia's followers asked if she had any nuggets of advice on healing over a breakup. Recchia indeed had some pieces of wisdom to embark, and she shared five lessons she has learned over time.

In her first piece of advice, Recchia writes, "let yourself be sad- lay in bed/sulk/feel all your feelings. let your friends take care of you. even months down the line, if you think you should be over it, you don't have to be."

Setting boundaries is a helpful step forward; Recchia's second piece of advice reads, "delete their number/unfollow or mute them on social."

Recchia learned how to put herself and her needs first. Her third tidbit says, "take time for yourself, travel, be with your family, go out with your friends, read self help books, listen to [a] podcast about moving on, therapy also really helps."

Even though she has admitted her experience in returning to the dating pool has been a bit difficult, this 'Bachelorette' babe believes in it!

"you can heal and date again at the same time," Recchia says in her fourth piece of advice. "if you continue to work on yourself i think it is totally possible to still go on dates and put yourself back out there."

Recchia shared a personally beneficial piece of advice for her final point. She writes, "forgiveness and letting go of any resentment. this one took me the longest to learn but has been the most beneficial for my healing."

She closed out her post with a lesson about the healing power of time. Recchia describes how it "truly does heal everything."

Time truly does heal! Recchia also isn't feeling any resentment toward our current 'Bachelor,' her ex Zach Shallcross. She recently defended him on Twitter, asking followers to extend "compassion" and "grace."
