Bre Tiesi is reminiscing on the moment that led to her relationship with Nick Cannon.
While Tiesi was well established in the modeling world, her journey as one of Cannon’s baby mamas made her famous and cemented her name on people’s minds. She and the “America’s Got Talent” host welcomed their son, Legendary Love, in July 2022 and even though their relationship is off-and-on, the model cannot forget the charming lines he used on her in the beginning.
Bre Tiesi Recalls The Moment Nick Cannon Broke Down Her Defenses
Despite the controversy trailing her relationship with Cannon, Tiesi has once again shown that she pays no attention to critics. To that end, the Los Angeles queen reposted a throwback clip from an episode of “Wild ‘N’ Out” showcasing the comedian giving her his best shot on social media.
In the video, the mother-of-one donned an eye-catching ensemble featuring what appeared to be an orange sports bra. She layered the bra with a black long-sleeved top, matching leather pants, and thigh-high boots. Meanwhile, Cannon stood next to her with a mic in his hand, stating:
“You got all this black on you. You want some of this Black in you?”
The statement elicited a cheer from the audience and warmed Tiesi up with an evident look of excitement and a little bit of shock on her face, as she wrote across the clip, “And this is how I ended up with a baby💀😂.”
This insight into the “Selling Sunset” star’s mind comes over a month after The Blast recorded her claims about not wanting to have any more children. The 31-year-old had told her followers of the plan during a social media conversation with them.
Talks began after she instructed her 528k followers to “ask me anything sept [sic] about my child’s father 😂,” causing one person to ask if she wanted more kids. In response, Tiesi wrote, “I’m one and done 🥰😘 me and ledgy for life,” giving life to a second fan’s question, “What made you feel more like yourself after ledge was born?” The real estate agent proceeded to give a lengthy explanation, penning:
“Nothing. Honestly life has never been the same I think adjusting to body changes my PP the show the public being nastier than ever. It’s taken prob till now to even start feeling like me but I’m sure after he’s a year I’ll be able to get back to me right now. it’s survival mode.”
The conversation continued with the doting mom advocating for more people to talk about postpartum, especially for first-time mothers who do not know what to expect. She added that although expectant mothers spent too much time “getting ready for [the] baby,” the attention needed to be on the woman “breaking” herself “mentally [and] physically to bear this child.”
She finished by expressing her wish for more focus to be placed on “helping support us women and not shame us.”
The Business Consultant Sets The Record Straight On Being Called A Single Mom
As reported by The Blast, Tiesi updated naysayers on her parenting status, especially when with the label of being a single mom. To make her point, the reality TV star reposted a clip from a chat between the male hosts of “Nice and Neat The Podcast” and their female guest.
One of the hosts got the ball rolling by asking the guest if she considered herself a single mom, to which she replied, “no.” After highlighting that she called herself a “co-parenting mom,” she added, “a single mom is what I grew up in with my mom.” Explaining further, the woman said:
“I’m like, but I’m not a single mom. I’m a co-parenting mom. Somebody shares this responsibility with me, and somebody is extremely active, you know, in my children’s life. Like, I knew what I was doing when I chose him, right?”
She detailed that she could not say the same for her mother because the matriarch raised three kids without any support from or a fatherly presence. Tiesi’s only form of agreement came in the text overlay that read, “this….”
While Legendary is the dark-haired beauty’s first child, he is Cannon’s eighth. The 42-year-old shares other children with Mariah Carey, Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, LaNisha Cole, and Alyssa Scott. Cannon and Scott’s first child together died at five months old following a brain cancer diagnosis.
