Fans Question Lori Harvey & Damson Idris' Chemistry As They Make Red Carpet Debut

True Love or a publicity stunt? Lori Harvey and Damson Idris raised eyebrows at their recent red carpet debut!

After subtly confirming their relationship on social media in January, fans have been skeptical about the ongoing romance between the media personalities. Although the pair's first Valentine's looked blissful, the same cannot be said about their recent public appearance.

The lovebirds attended the season 6 premiere of Idris's hit series "Snowfall," stepping out in their finest for their red-carpet moment in Los Angeles. However, the couple's special night seemed a little off.

On February 15, Harvey and Idris made their red carpet debut as a couple. The news blog shared a video of their entrance, Where Is The Buzz, on Twitter, capturing the dynamic duo posing for pictures.

The adopted daughter of comedian Steve Harvey stunned in a figure-hugging full-length dress that flaunted her gorgeous silhouette. The model accompanied the off-the-shoulder black number with chunky bracelets on both wrists while her raven-black hair was styled in soft waves, giving off an elegant old-school vibe.

By her side, the star of the night looked handsome in a navy blue suit and a white shirt. However, unlike a supposed couple in love, the pair kept each other at arm's length. As paparazzi yelled for the duo to turn their way, Idris could be seen whispering to his girlfriend, to which she responded with a smile.

The rising Hollywood star appeared to be done with the photo shoot as he tried to move away, reaching for Harvey's hand. But the socialite stayed back to take solo pictures. A male photographer could be heard in the background asking for a "quick pic of Lori," perhaps placating Idris to stay out of the frame.

Following the awkwardness displayed in the video, several fans aired their suspensions about the lovebirds on Twitter. British basketball player Kofi Joseph teased the couple's red carpet moment by writing, "They standing as if, if this don’t work out they can crop each other out the picture and still keep it."

Following his lead, other critics shared their opinions on the pair's apparent lack of chemistry. "Why is Damson holding Lori like a rental that he has to return after the event?" a fan mocked while another individual came for Harvey. "Why tf does all her relationships look 'business savvy' like when is she gonna find real love? I could be wrong tho," the person wondered.

Most did not fancy the pair's relationship, with one person pointing out that their "body language" seemed off while another noted that they posed like "co-workers." A conspiracy theorist believed the couple was a bad publicity stunt.

"Lori Harvey and Damson Idris are the worst industry pairing ever - I'm not buyin' what they're sellin' at all. Somebody needs their money back," the individual lamented.

These criticisms did not go unchecked as Harvey took time to respond to a fan's comment about her chemistry with the "Snowfall" star. The critic has written, "No chemistry. Look how far they're standing apart lol," to which the SKN By LH founder replied, "or maybe I just had on body makeup and told him don't stand too close to me because I didn't want to get it on his suit. Lol, y'all try to find a problem with everything ?."

Daily Mail's report of the outing sides with the runway queen's story as the news outlet reported that the lovebirds brought on the PDA. While posing for the cameras, Idris gave his lover sweet kisses on her head and cheeks. They also got touchy-feely, holding hands and staying close to each other.

Days before their red carpet debut, Idris seemingly opened up the origin of his relationship with Harvey. In the Peckham native's Valentine's Day card, the 31-year-old opened up about his love and hopes for their future.

The SKN by LH founder shared a picture of the roses and the note she received on her Instagram Story. In his handwritten message, the "Outside the Wire" actor noted that the lovebirds met a hundred days ago.

According to Idris, he owed his gratitude to Harvey's silver dress and the eventful dance that presumably made their relationship intimate. Following the hints he dropped, the timeline aligned with Odell Beckham Jr.'s 30th birthday party.

The star-studded event occurred on November 6. The model was spotted rocking a shiny silver dress in a picture that included her now- boyfriend and other celebrities like  Kendall Jenner, Justine Skye, and Hailey Bieber.
