"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Erika Jayne continues to act like everything is fine, despite being accused of ripping off orphans, and fans have had enough of the act.
Despite the scandal surrounding Erika, the reality star decided to post a cheerful photo on her Instagram feed of her wearing a pink sweatsuit ensemble. Erika captioned the post "cuddles" and tagged the members of her glam squad in the photo.
Interesting that Erika is dropping money on her makeup team to beat her face when she is being accused of helping embezzle money with her estranged husband, Thomas Girardi.
The accusations were made in a federal lawsuit filed against Erika and Thomas. In the suit, the plaintiffs claim Thomas represented families of plane crash victims. They won a settlement over the crash and were to be paid out. However, they claim Thomas didn't pay them the full amount and diverted money to fund his "lavish lifestyle" with Erika.
The suit read, "At the heart of this deception is Defendant Girardi and his need to fund outrageous lifestyles for himself and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Erika Jayne (“Erika” or “Jayne”). Tom and Erika have reached celebrity status in the glitz-and-glam world of Hollywood and Beverly Hills."
They added, "Erika is a performer who is perhaps better known for her years-long presence on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a show centered on the larger-than-life extravagances of its cast members. To keep up their celebrity status, Tom and Erika must project a public image of obscene wealth at all times, and at whatever the cost."
During a recent court hearing, Thomas was found in contempt of court for failing to explain where millions of his client's money went. The judge even referred the matter for possible criminal prosecution.
After being hit with the suit, Erika started hawing her designer clothes on an app. The plaintiffs found out about the move and rushed to court. A judge reviewed the matter and ordered Erika to cease selling the clothes because they could actually be Thomas's asset. The thought being the clothes could actually be seized and sold off to pay off various creditors.
On social media, Erika continues to be trolled by ex-fans who demand she "give the victims back their money."
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star posted a birthday note to her former costar Yolanda Hadid. One follower was quick to comment, "You miss Yolanda and the victims you stole from miss their money. Ce la vie."
"now you are a brokeass like dorito, I'm sure Youlanda will ditch you soon. she might visit you in prison though.?." said another upset fan.
Erika has remained silent about the accusations.
