Brantley Gilbert Stops Show, Confronts Man Who Punched Girl In Crowd

Country music singer Brantley Gilbert, known for his songs "Bottoms Up" and "Small Town Throwdown", always puts on a show.

The 38-year-old tends to put on rowdy shows, however, there are some things he won't allow.

In a video shared to TikTok, the country music star can be seen stopping his show after some people in the crowd started to get a bit rowdy as they were heard yelling.

Brantley Gilbert couldn't exactly hear what they were saying so he came closer as fans started pointing at a man in the crowd and saying "Security!" and "He just punched a girl in the face!"

The "Bottoms Up" singer then jumped down off the stage and started yelling at the man, "Hey, chill the f--k out. Settle down."

The fan who posted the video to TikTok, captioned it, "This is why we love Brantley Gilbert, the man behind me punched a girl, and @brantleygilbert came right down! ❤️."

The video now has nearly 150,000 likes, 860 comments, and over 1,800 shares.

Many country music fans took to the comments section to support Gilbert for standing up for that woman in the crowd and intervening.

"Us country boys don't play, don't ef with our ladies or its on," one TikTok user commented on the video as another chimed in, "This is why I love Brantley! ?❤️."

Another user saw Brantley Gilbert years ago, saying he did something similar then as well. "He stopped the show when I saw him years ago bc a guy was messing with a female that didn’t want messed with. I love him," they wrote.

While one country music fan said, "And that's why I love country Men. oh yeah," as another chimed in, "Brantley Gilbert is an amazing and caring person."

Last month, the country music singer was surprised with the news that his duet with Lindsay Ell, “What Happens In A Small Town,” is Platinum.

“My team just surprised me with news that #whathappensinasmalltown is officially PLATINUM,” Brantley Gilbert wrote on social media.

He went on to thank his fans, who go by BG Nation, writing, "#bgnation y'all get the credit for the life of this song... Y'all have shared it, streamed it and called up your local stations to hear it... The connection y'all have with this song is the same connection I have with hit... I’ve been there... Driving around home seeing all the people and places that I used to avoid to keep from thinking about the one that got away."

Brantley Gilbert continued to thank Lindsay Ell and RIAA Gold & Platinum Awards, writing, "And this song wouldn't be half of what it is without the incredible @lindsayell... Couldn't have done it without you my friend @riaa_awards."

Lindsay Ell commented on Gilbert's post, "[I] Am so grateful to all of you for loving this song so much. To think that y’all made it PLATINUM is crazy!! Thank you for believing in it as much as we did from the beginning. Here’s to sweet nostalgia. Appreciate you so much B!!"

Brantley Gilbert is getting ready to go on a summer tour with rock group, Nickleback. The tour kicks off in June 2023.
