Britney Spears Reposts Cara Delevingne's Viral Super Bowl Shirt

Singer Britney Spears was pretty vocal on Instagram on Friday afternoon, posting a video to tell her fans directly that "I didn't die, people!"
She continued her posting spree on Friday but took Super Bowl weekend off from posting on Instagram. However, the 41-year-old pop star returned to Instagram to show off a new outfit and to praise model Cara Delevingne's viral Super Bowl shirt.

On Sunday, model Cara Delevingne took to Instagram to share a photo of her standing in State Farm Stadium. She wore a white shirt that read, “Rihanna concert interrupted by a football game, weird but whatever.” In the caption, the “Paper Towns” star simply wrote, “#teamrihanna.”
The Savage x Fenty Instagram account commented, “Countin’ down the seconds at this point.” The Hulu Instagram account wrote “Legends supporting legends.” There were some comments that were critical, but most were overwhelmingly positive.
Of course, what Britney didn't include was Cara's second shot, which showed the model flashing her toned abs for the camera as she lifted up her shirt to show Rihanna's face wearing a football helmet on the back of her shirt.
Fans may have loved the photo, but having Britney Spears repost the photo is, as Hulu wrote, "Legends supporting legends." Unfortunately, it looks like the "Overprotected" singer decided to take down the photo by Tuesday morning.
Britney Shows Off A New Strapless Green Dress
A few hours later, the "Oops!...I Did It Again" singer took to Instagram to share a 53-second video clip set to the tune of Salt-N-Pepa's hit song, "Push It."
In the video, Britney moves back and forth in front of the camera. She is wearing a strapless lime green dress that is covered with sparkling sequins and frills. She accessorized her look with strappy black open-toe heels.
It looks like she is wearing several silver chain necklaces around her neck, and at one point, adds a white fur to her look as she flips her hair for the camera and tugs up the front of her dress to keep it from slipping down.
It looks like Britney just wanted to show off her outfit, as she did not write anything in the caption of the video.
The "Hold Me Closer" singer has also disabled comments on her posts since the beginning of 2023, so fans were unable to leave their comments on her green dress... at least on Instagram.
Still, many fans were unsure just as to what Britney was trying to say with her new video. It's possible that she was just trying to show off her new "funky fashion," as she alluded to in Friday's Instagram video.
Britney Says She Plans To Share More 'Funky Fashion' With Her Fans
Last week was pretty rough for the "Stronger" singer. Last Tuesday, there were reports that her husband, Sam Asghari, was planning an intervention for her. There were also allegations that Britney was struggling with her mental health and substance abuse, and that some of those close to her were afraid for her life.
In a 23-second clip posted to Instagram on Friday afternoon, Britney appeared in front of the camera to directly tell her followers that she was alive and well. “I didn’t die, people. I didn’t die. I’m here. I’m alive. Yeah, I’m very much alive and well," she says as she shows off her white fur.
In the caption, the "Slumber Party" singer wrote, “This week in the news it said that I almost died and that I have a manager and ‘doctors’ !!! I don’t have a management team nor will I ever again in my life !!! I don’t have ‘medical doctors’ !!! I take Prozac for depression and that’s about it !!! I’m an extremely boring person !!!”
Britney continued, “It frustrates me to know that any news outlet would say any of this !!! It’s worse than a cruel joke because people actually believe this stuff and all of my efforts in getting better with my little routine of prayer and therapy seem to not count for anything when people can say things that are incredibly wrong !!!”
Britney wrapped up the post by writing, “Anyways change of the subject … enough drama … I’m into diamond gowns and funky fashion at the moment ? !!! Good Morning ☀️ !!!!!”
It looks like Britney plans to try to reduce the amount of attention on her by posting her "funky fashion" videos without a caption. As long as it makes her happy, most fans don't seem to mind!
