Patrick Mahomes just crowned his epic weekend by going on a fairytale visitation.

Since New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms gave the famous quote, "I'm going to Disneyland," after his historic win in 1987, it has become an annual tradition for the MVP of the big game to declare that iconic phrase. Like many athletes before, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Mahomes gets to live out this dream for the second time.

On Sunday, the Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles at the Super Bowl LVII, winning their third Lombardi Trophy in franchise history and their second in four years. The father of two, who was named MVP after the big game, assured everyone that he would be celebrating his second NFL championship with a trip to the 'world's happiest place on earth.'

Sure enough, he has gotten to experience that feeling twice because, in 2020, Mahomes visited Disney World in Orlando after his team defeated the San Francisco 49ers. Now, the talented quarterback is at the California amusement park three years later with his family.

In a joint Instagram post, Mahomes and his wife Brittany shared a picture of the family of four posing in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The post also marked the first time the Mahomes family showed their newborn's face to the world.

In the cute shot, the doting father holds his baby boy with his right arm while his amazing wife carries their daughter to her left hip. The couple was apparently giddy in the caption as they gushed, "Welcome to the happiest place on earth, Bronze and Sterling! ❤️.”

Kansas City Chief's Quarterback Leads Team To Super Bowl Win Despite Ankle Injury

As mentioned, the Kansas City Chiefs had a big win at the just concluded Super Bowl, and Mahomes was at the center of it, but that victory did come easy for him, as detailed by The Blast in a recent report.

During the second quarter of his team's game against the Eagles, the quarterback sustained an injury to his right ankle. The wound occurred when T.J. Edwards, the opponent's linebacker, tackled him and impaired the high-ankle sprain he suffered in January again.

The determined athlete, obviously in pain, slowly limped toward the sideline to nurse his ache with the aid of standby trainers. Subsequently, he returned to the game to finish the first half and start the second half for his team, jogging carefully during the rest of the game.

Despite the challenges, the 27-year-old carried the Chiefs on his back, throwing three touchdowns, and ultimately his team became champions of the night. During a postgame interview, the NFL pro stated:

"I told you all this week there's nothing that's going to keep me off that football field. I just want to shout out to my teammates; we challenge each other; it took everybody to win this football game. I won't say dynasty yet; we're not done!"
