On Tuesday,Tory Lanez revealed that he has a song on the way with DaBaby along with a music video for it. He took to his Instagram feed to make the announcement as the photo posted showed him holding a Bible and DaBaby holding a gold object. A woman was also inside a bed in this image.

Megan Says Tory Lanez Getting DaBaby On A Song Is Old And Not Cleared
Megan was soon made aware of the collab and then subliminally tweeted "Nice try" with laughing emojis. She also said that this record is old and not even cleared.
The Houston rapper then clarified her stance with DaBaby by saying that they will still put out the music video for her "Cry Baby" song. This appeared on her debut studio album, "Good News," which was released in November. That project went on to debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Lanez Released His 'Loner' Album Last Month
In addition to this record with DaBaby being on the way, Lanez also put out his "Loner" album in December. This served as the "rap capsule" as he will be putting out other projects soon which will all be different genres. The ones he is exploring are R&B, acoustic, Reggae, and more. Loner contained 10 tracks with appearances from Swae Lee, Lil Wayne, Tyga, and more.
Lanez Faces 22 Years In Prison If Convicted For Megan Thee Stallion Shooting
Tory Lanez is also dealing with a very serious situation regarding the Megan Thee Stallion shooting last summer. He has maintained his stance numerous times that he did not shoot Megan. This was emphasized on his "Daystar" album as well.
In October, he was charged with felony assault, and in November, his attorney plead not guilty on his behalf. If convicted in his case though, 22 years and eight months are on the table. A trial date has not been set yet.
DaBaby Is Preparing To Possibly Win Multiple Grammy Awards
The GRAMMYs were postponed on Tuesday until March 14 due to COVID-19 concerns. Despite this, Baby is still getting ready to possibly win big there. He is nominated for four awards there. The categories he is included in are Best Song, Best Record, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap/Sung Performance.
Baby's "Rockstar" single has three of the nominations while his "Bop" single from 2019 is in the Best Rap Performance nomination T. This comes after a 2020 where the Charlotte rapper had a No. 1 album in "Blame It On Baby" and a No. 1 single with "Rockstar" featuring Roddy Ricch.
