Cheryl Burke is sharing secrets on living healthy mentally!
Last year was nothing short of drama filled for the star, from getting divorced to leaving "Dancing With The Stars" after more than a decade in the show, experiences that she has chosen to view as learning opportunities.
Nevertheless, her mental health was tested, and she has opened up severally about having to deal with getting her mind in the right space with tools like journaling and taking some time off. Now, she is disclosing many more things that have helped her journey.
Cheryl Burke Talks Mental Health And Reveals More Tools And Resources That Help Her
While on the journey to self-discovery and peace, the dancer decided to take out time to occasionally share with her followers how she achieved her new mindset to help those struggling. She posted another video on her page recently, this time going into a lot more detail about the tools or things she uses to get her mind right.
In the clip, she listed five resources she used: Therapy, Bree Malanson's Online course called "Beyond Form," Diamond Painting, Transcendental meditation, and Brainwaves Binaural Beats App.
The "DWTS" alum emphasized that therapy was a huge help to her which is why it was number one on the list. She pointed out that Melanson was a dancer and amazing, the painting helped during the pandemic, and that transcendental meditation has been accessible in her life. She continued:
"It is all about evolving and learning, and that has been something I have been very excited to do lately. All in all, there's no way to go but through. The only person that can fill your cup up is you."
In the caption, she wrote, "My top 5 mental health resources I swear by! Visit my website for more at the link in my bioβ¦ #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #resources." The owner of the app led the train in the comment section, writing, "Aweeee comin in hot at #2 π₯ππWhat an honorrrr β¨ππ»ββοΈ."
Another user noted, "Yes, tell us ..most people are damaged π." This person stated that they were already taking her advice, "Just started diamond painting because of your encouragement. Loving it! TY!"
A fourth fan pointed out her glow-up by gushing, "πβ€οΈ All excellent stuff. Appreciate you sharing the personal info, & how you're shining. π." This fifth follower praised her, writing, "You are so brave and vulnerable putting yourself out there πππ."
Earlier, she had mentioned how she had just discovered self-love and was okay with being on her own for the first time. The Blast shared that Burke revealed her current mindset soon after the news about her ex-husband moving on to a new relationship.

In the post, the 38-year-old shared pictures of herself smiling happily, posing on a scooter, and explained that one word was not enough to describe how she was doing because there were days filled with anxiety and others with peace. She emphatically stated:
"Today, I am proud to say that I am alone, not lonely, and though the past year had its challenges, I feel so much pride in knowing that I got through it all by myself."
The author gave examples of the unhealthy ways she would try to cope with the same situation, like rebounding, excessive partying, and drinking, adding that she chose a more conscious path this time.
'Dance Moms' Star Decides To Let Go Of Past Entering The New Year
Starting over might seem daunting, but not for Burke, whose 2022 was ending with a lot of baggage. The Blast shared that the TV star was gearing up to leave the past behind and face her future in the new year with renewed energy.
She made a video that featured the star walking in slow motion down a pathway before turning in a saucy way to face the camera with a hair flip. In the clip, she wrote:
"When you see me crying at 11:59 pm on NYE, don't think it's because I'm sad. It's because I fking MADE IT through the year that did everything it could to try and break me."
She noted in the emotional note that there were moments she almost broke, adding, "but here I AM. Ready to move forward, to no longer be defined by my past, and SO ready to start the next chapter of my life. 2023."
Burke concluded by expressing excitement at showing the world how it is done.
