Sunday, February 5, 2023, marked that time of the year for music stars to be awarded for their outstanding achievements in the industry within the year. However, unfortunately, the still very pregnant Jessie J could not make it.

Although the pop singer appeared to have made plans to attend the Grammy Awards ceremony, life happened, making her stay back at home, and keep herself busy with recorded live views of the event.

Jessie J Says She Planned To Have An Album Before 2023 Grammys

The English songwriter had to take a rain check on the 65th Grammys, and she recently told fans what she was up to on that blessed day. She wrote on her Instagram Story, "In bed with a packet of hula hoops and an easy peeler looking at people walk the Grammy carpet. [laughing with tears emoji]."

Jessie J further explained that she had totally different plans from how things turned out; still, she hoped to make an appearance next year. "The plan was to have an album out and be there," she penned. "But life had different plans, and I love these new plans. Next year. [fingers crossed emoji]."

Shortly before then, the "Price Tag" singer shared an Instagram reel captioned "Pregnant in pink" and featuring her in a vivid, eye-catching pink ensemble, exposing her swollen midsection.

The outfit comprised a patterned mesh crop top, floor-length leather jacket, and tights, with matching chunky heels. The clip was tuned to "Wait For U" by Future, Drake, and Terms while Jessie J began by belting out the verse, "Many days and many nights."

As the song kept playing, she could be seen preparing for a photo shoot as her stylist was nearby before she struck different poses, including several mirror selfies and some of her sitting on a chair.

Over 197k fans adored the update, and thousands expressed their fascination with commending words in the comment section. "You look so gorgeous, mama," a fan gushed while another exclaimed, "Go, Mama Jessie."

A third commenter jokingly asked, "Have you planned in which key you'll be giving birth in?" before declaring his adoration and how happy she made him. A fourth fan expressed, "Glowing – so excited for you to become a momma! You're gonna be the best!!" whereas a fifth looked forward to the celeb's unborn child's birth and her upcoming album.

After keeping her pregnancy from the media for months, Jessie J finally announced the news in January, leading to a fun-filled baby shower in February, which fans could not get enough of. In The Blast's report, she included friends and family in the event and dropped highlights on her Instagram, including a reel showing the group enjoying a game of blowing out a line of tea lights.

As they blew out the lights, they were expected to say "P***** Hole," which the 34-year-old did, including her mom Rosie, but neither could blow all the tea lights out. Even so, there was a winner at the end of the video – Jessie J's friend, who was cheered for being able to blow out all the candles.

The celebration continued on the "Domino" vocalist's Instagram Story, where she showcased the mouth-watering delicacies at the event alongside a view of her and her mother in high spirits. She then sang praises for her mom in an attached text for her love and everything she had taught her, which she felt "so lucky" to have experienced.

Jessie J is having a new show this year, and she could not be more excited. Her unborn baby seems just as thrilled as she videoed him expressing so on her Instagram Story.

Per The Blast, she shared a clip of her baby kicking twice, though the first kick was not as apparent as the second one, which caused the musician to laugh. "The baby is excited for the show," she captioned after informing fans of her upcoming performance on February 27 in the U.K.

She shared details using a black and white poster on her Instagram featuring her upper body wearing a longsleeved coat over a turtleneck.

As seen in the picture, the show was themed "An acoustic evening with Jessie J," while the venue indicated London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire. Additionally, a few websites were added at the bottom for fans to get their tickets.
