Kelsea Ballerini Stuns In 'Sunshine Dress' For The Grammys

Kelsea Ballerini brought the sun to the Grammys' red carpet!

The singer made quite the entrance while arriving at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening, February 5. This marked her third nomination as she was up for Best Country Solo Performance for her song "Heartfirst."

The 29-year-old again made a statement at the Awards ceremony with her stunning appearance on the red carpet. The country-pop singer arrived in a breathtaking dress which she shared on her Instagram page. 

The first slide showed the songstress putting on a leggy display in the sleeveless yellow gown with a striking train and cut out at the midriff, showing off some of the "Love Me Like You Mean It" singer's skin.

The "Dibs" singer matched her heels to her bright yellow dress, as the following image gave a closer look at her dirty blonde hair styled back in a tight bun while her small diamond earrings shined brightly. She paired it with bronze eye makeup and light lipstick on her flawless face to bring the whole look together. 

The Tennessee native showed off another unique part of the outfit - the cape on both sides, which she let flow around her, while the last slide displayed how long the train of the dress was from behind. The songwriter wrote in the caption:

"never taking this sunshine dress off. thank you for making my album cover come to life in this custom dream @prabalgurung ? ? @cibellelevi."

The look was a big hit amongst fans and colleagues as they took to the comment to compliment her. One of her followers noted, "I cannot get over this look. You look freaking AMAZING," while another stated, "Not a lot of people can pull off yellow, but yellow is YOUR color ?." 

This third user gushed, "This dress is goooorgeous! Perfect for you!" and a fourth wrote, "Wow. I had just seen you at the awards show. Your dress looks lovely! :).” Another person mentioned how she did not win the award for the category she was in, writing:

"You looked incredible @kelseaballerini. I'm sad you didn't win, but being nominated is a win. ? I'm so happy for you and everything you are doing right now! See you March 17! @hichasestokes, are you coming? ?.” 

The star had some serious competition in the "Best Country Solo Performance" category such as legendary artists like Miranda Lambert [In His Arms], Zach Bryan [Something In The Orange], Willie Nelson [Live Forever], and Maren Morris [Circles Around This Town].

Her previous nominations include the 61st Grammy Awards for "Best Country Album" and the 59th for "Best New Artist," though she lost out on both, making this her third loss.

The songstress and the actor were recently spotted engaging in a steamy PDA session at the airport, which only intensified their dating rumors. The Blast shared that she was married to Morgan Evans before calling it quits in 2022 after five years together. 

The "Outer Banks" star was also known to be in a relationship with his co-star Madelyn Cline before splitting up in October 2021 after one year. Recently they were seen making out, holding hands, and hugging each other tightly at the Los Angeles International airport (LAX).

This was confirmed via photos obtained by TMZ, which showed them oblivious to the crowd around them as they showed their affection openly. They had also been seen attending a game together at the College Football National Championship Game in L.A. as the 30-year-old posted a picture of the pair taken from behind.

The image, which he captioned "Lil Recap," showed Stokes and the "Yeah Boy" singer sitting side-by-side and cuddling up in the bleachers as they watched the football game. Fans quickly commented on the post, and some did not hesitate to shade his ex-girlfriend. Like this user who wrote:

"Chase deserves better, which is the beautiful Kelsea, they are so????? together Maddie moved on long ago, and Kelsea is way prettier than Her." 

Another follower supported their relationship, noting, "I mean, if you're saying you and Kelsea are a thing, I'm 100% here for this."
