Jinger noted how Vuolo had greatly assisted her in her "disentangling journey" from the old practices she was accustomed to.

She said, "Jeremy has been so kind throughout this entire process. He's been so patient with me because I know it must be so hard for him to see these wrestlings. There are long days where it's just emotionally tasking and hard and he has only been there to support me, to help me, to cheer me on."

The mom of two, however, noted that the more time she spent with her husband, Vuolo, she learned that she could be herself and be comfortable in her skin.

The former reality star explained, "Jeremy just encouraged me to not be someone I'm not, but just to be myself and feel comfortable and share my own opinions and have opinions on life."  She further admitted that she thought she had to be this "agreeable wife" for her to feel safe.

While the Christian couple has finally opted to branch out from the Duggar's doctrinal teachings, it didn't go without consequences.  Per The Blast, Jinger and Vuolo faced heavy backlash from fans for participating in last year's Halloween with their kids.

Taking to Instagram to post photos of her and her family dressed up as fictional characters from children's literature, Jinger and her husband dressed as Mr. and Mrs. Brown, while their eldest Daughter, Felicity, went as Paddington Bear, and the youngest, Evangeline Jo, was a jar of marmalade.

Feeling proud of the character's her family dressed as, she captioned the post, writing, "A young bear who needs our help, Henry….. It's just one night."

Judgmental fans were, however, not pleased with the social media influencer's post and proceeded to chastise her in the comment section. One angrily wrote, "Pastor like you should know the history of Halloween. I'm quite disappointed you celebrate this." Another sternly emphasized, "Halloween is not for Christianity."

A rather disrespectful fan indirectly undermined her father's effort to raise her well and wrote, "Jim Bob is quacking." While a saddened fan expressed their displeasure, writing, "Disappointed light and darkness do not mix."

"Christians have no business celebrating Halloween," declared another. One concerned fan admonished Duggar, writing, "I guess you don't know the true meaning of this horrible day, why not celebrate Reformation Day, very sad."
