Mulatto Is Keeping Her Stage Name For Now Despite Backlash
Mulatto is definitely a star but one criticism of her career so far is her stage name. Many believe that this is an offensive name when it comes to biracial people. In a new interview with HotNewHipHop.com, the rapper said that the stage name will not be changed right now, but will not rule it out.
"It will always resort back to Mulatto because that's just where it all started. I'll never want to erase my come up, but you got to also move forward. So I think, yeah, people will always know me as Mulatto, but like, the more aware and mature me will probably have a different name."
