Diplo Pays It Forward, Hooks Up Travelers With In-Flight Drink Vouchers

Diplo instructed his assistant to head down to LAX and pass out his 250 extra drink vouchers. The producer knows how to pay it forward.

Diplo posted a video on his TikTok oh himself enjoying drinks on a series of flights he wrote over the video. “I fly so much that I ended with over 250 unused Delta drink vouchers that were about to expire, so I sent my assistant toLAX give them out to people. I told him to send me proof he actually did it and he sent me this.”

The musician proceeded to play a series of shots of his assiatant passing out the vouchers. The walked around the airport and outside of the airport just casually giving people the wonderful gift of an in-flight drink on the flight they were about to board.

Diplo, who some are calling a “marketing genius” dropped his new soon to be his titled “Wasted” featuring Kodak Black and Koe Wetzel it was the perfect time to hand out those almost expired vouchers.

The assistant held up the voucher and shared what was printed on the back of each voucher; “I fly so much I ended up with all theses free Delta drink tickets. No way I can use them before they expire so please have a drink on me in honor of my new song ‘Wasted,’”

The card also featured a QR code and they were signed by Diplo.

Diplo narrated the video via on screen captions. At one point, he writes, “I think he spent over 2 hours there lol.” Everyone looked thrilled to get something for free in a world where inflation isn’t allowing everyone to buy eggs equally.

The night was passing by and obviously Diplo’s dedicated assistant could spend all night there, he updated all his followers of where they could find the extra vouchers if they wanted a free in-flight alcoholic (or not) beverage.

“Said he put the last 100 of them by the TSA entrance,” the video showed just that. It was kind of cool move on Diplo’s part the whole pay it forward thing is always a good look. His followers on TikTok and IG were impressed and hopped in the chat to let Diplo know that he did a great thing.

“Absolutely genius marketing,” noted one follower. “I want to be Diplo’ assistant assistant ??,” another follower farmed out the job idea. Many likened him to a “chaotic Mr. Beast” the influencer and entrepreneur who just paid for 1000 people to get eye surgery to see again, only with alcohol.

Some would forgo the drink to keep the signed drink voucher. “I don't think I would have use it bc it's got his signature on it, I would have made the flight attendant give it back to me???.”

Some were wanting more not of the vouchers but a bigger giveaway, “what about some extra miles you can pass along. Lol.”

One of the followers actually got the drink voucher and used it, she thanked the musician for making her flight better. “Thnx for the drinks babe!!!!”
