Jojo Siwa Shuts Down Relationship Rumors With TikTok Star

Jojo Siwa is leaving no stone unturned in setting the record straight!

Since coming out as gay, the dancer has been linked to several names, including her best friend, Kylie Prew, and TikTok star Avery Cyrus. Her dating life has continued to be an object of interest to the point that anyone she is seen with is thought to be a new flame. Despite the speculations, she has maintained her stance on the fact that she is single.  

Living in the spotlight has its disadvantages, one being the constant scrutiny of one's personal life. While most celebrities hate and resent the attention, others, like the star, treat it with good-hearted humor. 

Taking to her Instagram story, she shed light on a recent rumor about her and content creator Savannah Demers. In the video, she began by updating fans about how she was out with her friend and got "paparazzied."

The actress then cleared the air by stating that the pal she was with already had a girlfriend and that they were just friends. But due to her status, the media instead spun it to say that she was out on a "flirtatious date with a new TikTok model."

She noted that the article, which was undisclosed, was amusing because they talked about her breakup – the wrong one, and even got their ages wrong. Siwa then said, "but now I'm realizing something else. In this article, it was like JoJo even got the door for this girl."

She then spun around to show the door in question — an automatic door that opens and closes by itself. As she ended the video with a laugh, it proved that it would have been impossible for her to have opened the door for anybody, decreasing the credibility of the article. 

It does stand to reason that they would be friends, as it is not the first time the pair have been spotted together out and about. Over a week ago, news hit the headlines that it looked like Siwa had finally moved on with Demers from Cyrus after their short three-month relationship, which started in September 2022. 

Since calling it quits, the 19-year-old has kept her personal and romantic life as private as possible. This is why it was significant when she was seen walking with the brunette beauty on the streets of LA. 

The rumored pair were spotted after a personal training session marking the second time they were hanging out as last week's outing saw them heading to Erewhon market to shop for groceries. 

In pictures obtained by DailyMail, the "Boomerang" singer donned an off-white "Brooklyn" varsity jacket over a workout outfit consisting of a branded band shirt and black biker shorts.

She paired the look with brown socks, black converse sneakers, and a cream-colored Gucci backpack. She walked with a smile while holding onto a water bottle, car keys, and her mobile phone.

Her 22-year-old companion meanwhile wore a one-shoulder cream-colored crop top, matching pants underneath gray sweatpants, and a dark blue hoodie. Demers wore a pair of white Fila sneakers while holding onto another pair of shoes and other belongings. The duo worked out together before departing the location. 

Fans will recall that in January 2021, the "I Can Make U Dance" singer hinted at the change in her sexual orientation by dancing to Lady Gaga's song "Born This Way." Later, she posted a picture of herself wearing a shirt with printed words confirming her status.

The Blast shared that the YouTube star remembered that monumental moment in a new post two years later. The entrepreneur shared the snap to her page, which featured the "Dancing With The Stars" alum wearing a black shirt pulled out to show the words, "Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever." 

The Nickelodeon star wrote in the caption, "2 years ago today ❤️????? now looking back on everything…. I'm SO proud of 17-year-old JoJo.??." Most of her fans were very excited and congratulated her, like this follower who wrote, "SO proud of u always!!."

Another fan gushed, "Sooo proud of you!!!! Love you JoJo!" while a third person noted, "So proud of you! I still can't believe it's been two years! It feels like forever. Glad you can be you ??️‍?."
