The famous wrestler recently opened up about her relationship with her husband and how he reacted to a sensitive matter revolving around their wedding ceremony.
Bella revealed that she confided in Chigvintsev about wearing a dress to their wedding ceremony, which she bought while engaged to her ex-fiancé John Cena. The pair took their fans by surprise in August 2022 after tying the knot in a secret ceremony held in Paris.
Nikki Bella Says Her Husband Was Cool With Her Wedding Dress
The professional wrestler revealed that her husband isn't only a sweet and romantic man but also an understanding partner!
Per PEOPLE, Bella disclosed during an exclusive interview that she had a conversation with Chigvintsev about wearing the wedding dress she purchased while formerly engaged to her ex, Cena.
In her words, "I was very honest with Artem. I came to him because I would respect however he would feel with that." The reality TV star further revealed that the professional dancer took the message well.
She said, "Artem was just so amazing with it. Not bothered at all. Even when the cameras weren't rolling out I was like, 'Artem be honest. That's how you really feel?' And it really was."
Giving more insight as to why her husband reacted so cooly, she said, "Artem knows the kind of woman I am. I'm very strong and independent. That dress to me represented who I am and what I loved and my dreams."
Revealing that she paid for the dress herself and had never worn it to an event, she wondered why she should have had to pick another dress entirely.
The Russian-born dancer also supported his wife's decision, saying, "To me, if I would have had an issue then I think we'll have bigger problems in our relationship. The mom of one concluded by stating, "I think we have so much trust, and we know how much we love each other. He knows the love I have for him that he knows wearing that dress doesn't change the way I feel."

Bella and Chigvintsev's relationship appears to have stood the test of time as fans jubilated after the pair announced their low-key wedding ceremony. Per The Blast, the couple shared the news of their marriage via a joint Instagram post after posting a two-slide snap that captured the special event.
The first slide revealed an up-close photo of the couple's wedding rings. The "WWE" star sweetly held onto her husband's hands, their blinged fingers taking the spotlight as it rested on a background of white and green flowers.
The happy bride opted for well-manicured nude nails with an almond shape, while Chigvintsev's nails were neatly trimmed.
In the following slide, the adorable couple locked themselves in a warm embrace as they stared off into the distance, unaware of what the future held for them while holding on to champagne glasses in their hands.
Although the pair backed the camera, eagle-eyed fans were able to get a glimpse of what Bella's wedding gown looked like.
The TV personality looked mesmerizing in an off-shoulder white dress featuring satin straps that hung loosely on both sides., while the Emmy-nominated choreographer donned a white t-shirt and black pants.
Also featured in the snap was a silhouette of the Eiffel Tower, which confirmed the fact that they walked down the aisle in Paris.
Bella Reminisced On Her Painful Break-up With John Cena
The San Diego native, who is now happily married to the love of her life, Chigvintsev, was once romantically involved with Cena and was even engaged to the WWE star before abruptly ending things with him.
The famous wrestlers were together for six years, before calling it quits in 2018 weeks before they were supposed to walk down the aisle in a fairytale wedding.
Per The Blast, Bella, during an interview, took a trip down memory lane as she revealed the agony she felt when she realized it was time to end her relationship with the wrestler.
The "Incomparable" author, in describing how she felt, said, "I think a lot of women get into this situation when it's like, 'I love this person, but I don't know if it's right for my life,' and that's a hard thing." She further clarified, saying, "Sometimes we meet amazing people, but we're just meant to live a different life."
Admitting that although she genuinely loved Cena, she had to follow her instinct, Bella said, "I just got this feeling so deep in my gut of, like, 'I need to walk away.' And no one thought I would, but it was hitting me so hard. Even though it's painful and even traumatizing, I just knew it was right."
