Taylor Swift proclaims "I just want to stay in the lavender haze" in the opening track on "Midnights," and she is certainly staying true to her word!

Swift's lead track on her tenth album kicks off the LP with a bang; the opening lyrics invite fans to "meet [her] at midnight." Two and a half months after "Midnights" was released, these late-night meetings aren't ending anytime soon!

Swift, 33, who has broken multiple types of records with "Midnights" in the short time since its release, posted a lavender-themed message on her social media accounts on Thursday.

Unlike many of her announcements, the "Bejeweled" singer was not cryptic with her message, and likely didn't divulge any secret easter eggs (that we know of!!!)

'Swifties' Will Set Their Alarms For The 'Lavender Haze' Music Video Premiere!

Swift has made it clear she can "make the whole world shimmer," however, her world will be looking a bit lavender for a while!

She announced the premiere of the "Lavender Haze" music video, revealing it will be released at midnight on Friday morning. Swift shared her announcement on both Twitter and Instagram. For her Instagram post, she shared a snippet of the song's opening lyrics in a post, featuring what looks like a shot from the music video. Swift can be sitting up in bed, covered in lavender sheets. Eagle-eyed fans might spot a purple rug on the floor, featuring what looks like a few vinyl records lying on top.

"Meet me at midnight.... for the 'Lavender Haze' music video premiere (!!!!!!!!!!!!!)" Swift's caption reads. She also posted it on her Instagram story, minus the caption, which does give it a bit of Swift's signature cryptic nature!

"Lavender Haze" will be the third music video from "Midnights" to be released so far.

Do 'Swifties' Feel The 'Lavender Haze' Creeping Up On Them?

The comments on Swift's Instagram post are "limited," but the conversation was incredibly lively over in the comments section of Swift's Twitter announcement!

Swiftie detectives were already at work in the thread. One fan shared a close up photo of the items laying on the floor.

"there's a mastermind cover with the sagittarius collection (taylor swift) and the pisces collection (joe alwyn) on it." In addition to the constellation photos, this Swiftie shared lyrics from "Mastermind!"

The official Twitter for The Empire State Building tweeted, "I'm screaming."

The official account for Chilli's asked, "should we host a watch party?"

The official account for Music Choice asked a big question that has been on the mind of Swifties for quite awhile: "will we get Speak Now (Taylor's Version) after this ??? are we clowning??"

"she really just said 'surprise, you're not sleeping tonight" and we all just dropped everything & we are ready to sacrifice our sleep schedules once again. it's hilarious," an experienced Swiftie tweeted. 

A Swiftie named Samantha tweeted a photo featuring her lavender CD edition of "Midnights," writing, "My Midnights Lavender Edition CD and Lavender Haze themed nails will definitely meet you at midnight Taylor," along with a lavender heart emoji!

A Swiftie named Emma revealed details on an ambitious project she has been working on for awhile; she has tweeted at Swift asking for the music video for nearly 50 days!"

"taylor!!," she writes in her tweet, "i've been asking for the lavender haze music video for 48 days, i'm so excited to finally watch it," she tweeted, along with a tearful emoji and a lavender heart. Her tweet also shows screenshots of her previous tweets!

A Swiftie named Joel replied to Swift's thread with a collection of "Midnights" themed photos, including two featuring "Midnights"-inspired tattoos!

"I saw this announcement and 10 minutes later my merch that i've been waiting on since oct. came [crying emoji], I'm so happy," a fan named Elizabeth tweeted, along with photos showing off her "Midnights" themed charm bracelet and towel!

"i had a heart attack when i saw your name in my notifs," an excited fan replied.

"it's been a while since i met you at midnight," a timekeeping fan tweeted. "i'm so excited."

The excitement has also begun on Swift's YouTube account! The music video is currently in place, and features a still photo from the video, with a countdown to its premiere! Fans can also participate in a live chat while they wait until the clock strikes midnight!
