After recapping Lee's mission and TikTok success for "Good Morning America" viewers, Lee got the opportunity to help surprise small Brooklyn bakery, "Bakery on Bergen." Lee explained why this particular small business stood out to him after visiting many while in New York City. (See the clip here!)
"I heard about this from another influencer and I'm so happy I did," he said. "I went and tried it and it was delicious." After entering the business, "GMA" host Will Reeve and Lee found owner Akim Vann and explained why they are there and live on television.
When asked what made his experience at the bakery so special, Lee said, "Akim did." "Your customer service was through the roof. You had no idea who I was. You made your green tea latte for me like four times," he said. "Customer service was amazing. And the chocolate chip cookie, crazy."
Lee also filmed a video for his social media about the business, but hasn't posted it yet, although Reeve said it will be posted later today.
After the shock of being live on "GMA" and finding out that Lee will be posting his review of the bakery on TikTok, which has proven to be life altering for the small eateries he reviews, Vann was gifted $10,000.
