Singer Britney Spears is doing just fine, or at least that's what someone at her Thousand Oaks mansion told law enforcement officials on Wednesday morning.

The 41-year-old pop star singer deleted her Instagram account, which is not an unusual occurrence, as the "Hold Me Closer" singer has done from time to time. However, it seems that at least one of her millions of followers got concerned for her safety and called the cops to perform a welfare check on her.

Less than a month after the viral restaurant incident with her husband Sam Asghari, the police were at Britney's door to make sure that she was doing okay.

It’s not clear when Britney deleted her Instagram account, but it looks like it happened sometime in the past twelve hours. Fans who try to visit her Instagram page now see a message from Meta, Instagram’s parent company, reading, “Sorry, this page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed. Go back to Instagram.”

This is far from the first time that Britney has deleted her Instagram account for a few days. Back in December, the “Slumber Party” singer claimed that she had “accidentally” deleted her Instagram account, writing, “I know my Instagram has been down a few times but honestly I did the last two times myself !!! Oops … I accidentally pressed the wrong button … d*mn that stupid button !!!”

However, this time, it looks like fans actually called the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and asked them to check on Britney. Local sheriffs told TMZ that they did indeed go to Britney’s home and found no evidence that she was in any danger. It’s unclear at this time if they spoke to Britney or if someone else at the residence assured them that she was fine.

On January 13, customers at a Joey restaurant in Woodland Hills were shocked when they saw Britney Spears and her husband, Sam Asghari, sit down together for a meal. Everyone began pulling out their cameras and began recording her, which seemed to unnerve Britney.

One witness told TMZ that she began acting “manic” and started “yelling” and “talking gibberish.” Sources say that her behavior caused her husband to get frustrated and storm out of the restaurant. The outlet actually received a video from one customer that shows Britney sitting alone at a table.

It was reported that Britney followed Sam a few minutes later, along with her bodyguard. That bodyguard then allegedly returned to the restaurant a few minutes later to settle the bill. However, Sam quickly spoke out on the following Sunday and denied that he had ever stormed out on his wife.

On Sunday, TMZ shared a video clip that showed a reporter asking Sam to elaborate on what happened that night. “People get a little bit excited to see my wife. So everybody’s filming. Everybody’s doing their thing,” Sam replied.

“But you know how it is, uh, fame comes with the territory and I went to get the car to get the h*ll out of there and people just thought I’d left but that didn’t happen," he continued. "So it is what it is, man.”

“Yeah, you know, when you sit down to have a meal and people get their cameras out and start filming you, it’s disrespectful, but you know what? Fame, it just comes with the territory and that’s it,” Sam added as he walked away.
