RHOA's Kenya Moore Receives Birthday Flowers from Daughter and Estranged Husband

The Television personality shared a photo of a pink orchid in a black vase with millions of followers. Set to the tune of the common birthday song, the floral arrangement was delicately placed on a kitchen marble countertop.

Moore's post revealed a small section of her living room space that looked well-maintained with its high ceilings and large windows. With a faint view of what looks like a sitting area with white and grey couches, the birthday girl excitedly wrote across the video, "THANK YOU FOR MY FLOWERS BROOKLYN AND MARC❤️."

Fans are aware that Moore and Daly are in the process of getting divorced. They both separated in September 2019 after two years of marriage. The "Waiting To Exhale" star and the businessman were introduced to each other by a mutual friend and fellow Bravolebrity, Chef Roblé Ali, which sparked a romance in December 2016.

They walked down the aisle in June 2017 at a private resort in St Lucia and welcomed their four-year-old daughter the following year. The birth of their adorable child made them first-time parents. In a statement to the publication, Moore explains the special meaning behind her daughter's name. She said:

"Brooklyn because that's where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me."

The "Trois" actress lived in Atlanta, while her man did most of his dealings in New York; the couple's relationship was long-distance at times, which proved difficult. Subsequently, they announced their separation after two years of marriage.

However, Moore was still determined to save her relationship as she noted that she still loved him despite their problems. She said, "I don't doubt that he loves me. Let me be clear, I took my vows seriously. I believe in for better and for worse and I believe in trying it all before you walk away, especially when we do have a child and we are a family."

Unfortunately, the couple could not salvage their union and by May 2021, the "Game, Get Some!" author filed for divorce. According to the court documents, Moore stated that she and Daly had been living in a "bonafide state of separation" since September 2019. Also, she requested sole physical and legal custody of their daughter.

Although Daly gave up physical custody to Moore, he filed his court documents in June 2021 seeking joint legal custody of Brooklyn but agreed that Moore could have primary physical custody.

Kenya Moore Says Divorce From Marc Daly Is Slow Due To Lack Of Prenup

Protect the bag! A move the 52-year-old wished she had done when she got married to her now estranged husband. Per The Blast, she attributes most of the drawn-out drama to her lack of prenuptial agreement, a written contract entered by couples before marriage that controls what happens when their marriage ends by death or divorce.

Moore and Daly's divorce proceedings have been slow-paced for two years, and the Detroit native was particularly frustrated when she spoke to TMZ. She claimed that the lack of a contract makes it difficult to divide their properties, especially things they had while still married. She explained further to the news outlet that it was a significant roadblock to rounding stuff on the "world's longest divorce."

However, last September, Moore shared that she wouldn't let anything or anyone hold her back from living her best life. Speaking to Andy Cohen during the second part of the show's reunion, the beauty noted, "I'm definitely doing some group dating and have people pursuing me, but nothing serious yet."

The actress admitted that she had been on some double dates and felt a lot lighter because of her flourishing business. The author noted that her reignited energy was why people kept trying to introduce her to their single male friends, who also liked her vibe well enough to try and reach out.
