Fans Want Butler To Drop His 'Elvis' Voice!
It appears fans have had enough of Butler speaking like the late musician Elvis, and they are voicing out their displeasure on social media.
As previously reported, the California native had fans in hysterics after giving his acceptance speech during the Golden Globes Awards for winning Best Actor in a motion picture for his portrayal of Elvis. During his speech, his usual voice was overshadowed by the new accent he learned for the movie. And fans were quick to call him out on Twitter.
One desperately wrote, "Austin Butler has one more chance to shut the Elvis voice off I swear to God." Another sarcastically pointed out, "#AustinButler wants us to believe this is his natural voice."
A third jokingly inquired, "Have we checked on the hypnotist that's holding Austin Butler in a perpetual Elvis voice trance? #GoldenGlobes."
A rather perplexed fan wondered, writing, "Trying to figure out if this is just going to be Austin Butler's voice forever"?
