Joey Lawrence is having a blissful time with his wife, Samantha Cope, after welcoming their first child together. The couple, who got married last year, announced their new baby girl, Dylan Rose Lawrence, in a sweet Instagram post by the actor and game host.

While this is Lawrence's first child with Cope, the "Dancing With The Stars" alum also shares two kids with his former wife Chandie Yawn-Nelson, whom he was married to from 2005 to 2022. Lawrence, who met Cope on a movie set, proposed to her in 2021 and took to Instagram to announce their new romance.

Joey Lawrence And Samantha Cope Welcome Their Daughter

The 46-year-old and the "Deadly Deed" actress announced Dylan's birthday as January 16th, 2023. On Friday, Lawrence posted a photo of the two holding the newborn together and smiling. He then wrote a cute caption to show how happy they were.

"Mom, Dad and big sisters are all so smitten with you sweet girl!" He then explained how stress-free the birth was. "We welcomed her into this world with the most amazing midwife, everyone is happy and healthy and we are overjoyed with gratitude," he said with a prayer and white heart emoji.

The actor also thanked fans for their "continued love" and "support" for his family and their new baby. He added, "Wow what a beautiful journey …stay tuned for baby spam xoxo." Dylan joins her two other siblings who Lawrence shares with his ex-wife Yawn-Nelson.

Joey Lawrence Has Two Kids From His Previous Marriage

Following their marriage in 2005, the InterCall former staff and Lawrence finalized their divorce in 2022, two years after ending their union, which lasted for over a decade and a half in 2020. During their marriage, they welcomed their daughters, Charleston, in 2006 and Liberty in 2010. The two are now 16 and 12 years old, respectively.

While they finalized the split in February last year, Lawrence remarried that same month. This was after the "Melissa & Joey" actor proposed to Cope in August 2021, after meeting her on the "My Husband's Secret Brother" film set. Following the marriage, Lawrence also took to Instagram to tell fans about his new romance with the now 35-year-old.

He wrote: "Guess the cats outta the bag. We are beyond excited to see what the future holds for us and to know we will grow old and super wrinkly together is the ultimate blessing." Seven months later, the "Organized Killer" actress then showed off her baby bump on her Instagram page, announcing her first child with Lawrence.

Samantha Cope Was Excited To Be Pregnant

While their baby was still on her way, Cope shared how happy she was to be pregnant. In September, she shared a photo of her baby bump and captioned it, "It's been fun getting to know you so far little one!" "We are so blessed!"

Though her husband shared two kids with Yawn-Nelson, he was equally excited for the baby as he made a post of his own to express how he felt. Lawrence shared a photo of himself and Cope smiling on the beach with his hand on her baby bump and a sweet caption to cap it.

He wrote: "The blessings just keep on coming. Proud of you babe! Baby Lawrence on the way!"

Joey Lawrence Praised Samantha Cope For Her Step-Parenting Skills

Following Lawrence's divorce from Yawn-Nelson, the two agreed to co-parent their kids. While the "Brotherly Love" actor was trying his best to be a good father, he had some help from the "Love at the Christmas Contest" actress, whom he praised for being a good stepmom.

In an interview with Us Weekly in the same month they got engaged, Lawrence revealed how much he admired Cope's relationship with Charleston and Liberty. He was also relieved that she got along with the kids.

"She's a great person, and the girls do like her, which is great. It's awesome." At the time, he noted that things were "smooth" between them, and he couldn't have wished for anything else.
