Josh Duggar’s prison life is proving to be dangerous.
The eldest Duggar child is currently serving a 151-month (12.5 years) prison sentence after being found guilty in his child pornography case.
Josh Duggar's In A Dangerous Situation In Prison
The Blast reported in May 2022 that the former reality star was found guilty on child pornography charges that included downloading a collection of “the sickest of the sickest” child pornography.
During the sentencing hearing, Judge Timothy Brooks told Josh’s wife, Anna Duggar, that “the images were some of the worst that this court has ever encountered.
This sentiment was echoed by the press, which described the images and videos found on Duggar’s laptop as some of the worst child pornography ever seen.
Prior to his sentencing, Judge Brooks denied several motions by his defense team that argued it was an unfair trial since Josh had remained in custody while waiting for his sentence.

Josh was found guilty of possessing and receiving child pornography in December 9, 2021.
He is currently living out his prison sentence at FCI Seagoville in Dallas, TX.
It appears the prison is understaffed in several areas and gangs are running rampant inside the building.
According to an inmate’s family member, FCI Seagoville is a hostile environment and the nearly 2,000 inmates suffer medical neglect.
The U.S. Sun exclusively reported the alarming news.
The Prison Understaffed & Gangs Are Running Rampant
“There's not really much security around because they're dramatically understaffed,” their source with direct knowledge to the situation revealed. “The prison has pretty heavy politics, which means there are gangs in it. Fortunately, it is nowhere near as violent as a medium-security facility.”
They continued to say, “But it is just a dangerous situation, given the level of neglect and so I know that my family member has felt concerned for his, I guess I would say he's always concerned for his well-being, even if he feels physically safe.”
One inmate sued the prison on claims he was beaten by another inmate.
Per The U.S. Sun, an inmate filed a complaint against the federal pison in October 2022. The inmate claimed staff released him back into the general population knowing he was “in fear of his life.”
“I was assaulted with a lock by an inmate who was paid by other inmates to do the assaulting,” he said of the July 27, 2022 incident.
In terms of medical neglect, the inmate’s family member said the prison doesn’t always hold “sick call” on the scheduled days.
“My family member hasn't received any medical treatment for it in two and a half years for his disability. He's asked and they keep telling him that he's on the list,” they revealed. “He needs glasses, and he's been on the list to get an optometry appointment for over a year and still hasn't gotten any. My family member has had situations where he's had a cold or COVID. And sometimes it's a couple of days before he's able to get any kind of attention at all.”
The inmates are living in pretty gross conditions.
“They go without electricity or heating for days, even when a big cold front came through Texas. They didn't have any hot water for days at a time,” the outlet reports. "They've been through six generators in the past six weeks because they keep burning them out instead of just fixing the electricity.”
The inmates’ food is often “disgustingly expired” and they are undernourished.
“They had a run of cereal that had bugs in it, and so people just couldn't eat their cereal because it was filled with bugs,” the source noted.
