Josh Duggar has been sentenced to 12.5 years in prison!

Duggar was sentenced for downloading an insane amount of “the sickest of the sickest” child pornography.

During the trial, Judge Brooks told Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar that "the images were some of the worst that this court has ever encountered."

A motion by Duggar's defense to overturn his guilty verdict on the grounds that there was insufficient evidence was denied.

Prosecutors brought the mother of a victim from one of the videos Duggar had downloaded.

The woman shared a message from her daughter to Duggar, “'don't you know no one should do that to a little girl? Don't you know it hurts?”

Anna Duggar and the Duggar family have been solidly behind Josh Duggar.

The family pleaded for leniency, stating that Duggar “has a compassionate heart and he is willing to make personal sacrifices for the benefit of others.”

Duggar still maintains his innocence and will appeal the courts decision.
