And the last time we heard real news about her private life was unfortunately when the singer and her now ex-husband and actor Liam Hemsworth, decided to divorce.

Most fans know how this break-up was hard for Miley Cyrus, and many theories have been made about her single back in 2019 called "Slide Away". In this single, many fans theorized that Miley Cyrus was talking about her past relationship with Liam Hemsworth, but it was never proven. However now, with no more theories or suppositions, Miley Cyrus explicitly talks about this breakup in her new song and music video called 'Flowers'.

Described by many as a 'revenge song', the singer talks about her single relationship status and gives us a look at what was her relationship with her ex-husband. And I think no one wants to be Liam Hemsworth this week.

Yes, everything was calculated by the singer, and not only in the lyrics or the music video. First of all, she decided to drop the song a few hours before Liam Hemsworth's birthday, a first provocation even before he can click on the play button to see the roast that was reserved for him.

This song tells the regrets Bruno Mars has about a past relationship, and he wishes in it he could have done better than he did. The rumor says that Liam Hemsworth has dedicated this song once to Miley, making this answer even harsher for the actor who just wanted to celebrate his 33rd birthday in peace.  But there's one thing for sure, she clearly says that she doesn't need him anymore.

The song also references a terrible event that happened to the couple back in 2018, when the house they bought in Malibu burnt: "We were right ’til we weren’t / Built a home and watched it burn". The music video also has references to the famous movie American Psycho and its training scene.
