Jack Nicholson’s Public Absence Becoming Increasingly Worrisome To Friends

WHERE’SSSSS JOHNNY?!?!

That is the question on those closest to Jack Nicholson.

MEGAThe former “Man of Hollywood” has become a total recluse and friends are growing worried he may die alone.

The last time Nicholson was spotted out and about was over a year ago in October 2021.

According to a report from Radar Online, friends of Nicholson fear his fate may be the same as his former best friend, Marlon Brando.

The “Something’s Gotta Give” actor has his friends asking the same thing.

“He’s made it clear his home is his castle. But people just wish he’d come out of the house and pop up to tell them how, or at least reassure folks he’s OK,” a source told the outlet.

Nicholson remains reclusive in his luxurious Mulholland Drive mansion. His “castle” boasts four-bedrooms, three-bathrooms and a pool.

The last time “The Shining” actor was seen out and about was on October 19, 2021, with his son, Ray Nicholson, at the Los Angeles Lakers season opener.

The insider continued, “Jack’s in touch with certain relatives, especially Ray, his protégé, who he’s so proud of, but his socializing days are long gone.”

As previously mentioned, those close or within Nicholson’s circle fear he will live out his final days, weeks, months and years like “The Godfather” star, Brando.

“Brando died a virtual recluse after leading such a colorful life, and Jack’s friends are drawing the comparisons,” the source revealed to RO. “His kids will visit, but they’re his only connection to the world. It’s like he doesn’t want to face reality anymore and that’s just sad.”

His inner circle is reportedly worried that 85-year-old Nicholson is suffering from dementia.

In September 2021, a friend said of Nicholson, “Jack and I have been friends for years and he doesn’t leave his house anymore… I think his son and daughter are looking after him now.”

The Blast previously reported that before his October 2021 sighting, Nicholson was often spotted sitting court-side with his famous friends like Leonardo DiCaprio multiple days a week.

The last time he was seen out and about, prior to 2021, was at yet another Lakers game in January 2020.

It makes sense why he took time away from public life. January 2020 was right before the COVID-19 pandemic took over the entire earth and as many know, older people are more prone to contract the deadly virus and their chances of survival are small.

Nicholson gave a rare interview in 2020 in the wake of Kobe Bryant’s tragic helicopter crash.

"My reaction is the same as almost all of L.A," he told CBS Los Angeles. "You just suddenly—where everything was solid, there's a big hole in the wall. I was so used to seeing and talking to Kobe that, you know, I mean, it kills you. It's just a terrible event."

As many fans did, the actor shared fond memories of the NBA legend.

"I remember him in totality, just how great a player he was,” Nicholson said.

He recalled Kobe having a great sense of humor and getting “all the jokes.” Nicholson added, “We'll think of him all the time and we miss him.”

Nicholson’s last big movie was “How Do You Know” in 2010 and prior to that it was “The Bucket List” and “The Departed.”
