The 84-year-old was spotted taking in his favorite past time, basketball.
Nicholson attended the LA Lakers season opener with his son.
He sat courtside along many other celebrities like Kevin Hart, Adele, James Corden and more.
The last time Nicholson was seen publicly was in January 2020.
At the time he issued a statement about Kobe Bryant’s tragic death.
He told CBS Los Angeles, "You just suddenly—where everything was solid, there's a big hole in the wall. I was so used to seeing and talking to Kobe that, you know, I mean, it kills you. It's just a terrible event."
"I remember him in totality, just how great a player he was,” Nicholson said.
