Beyoncé's Dream To Collaborate With Britney Spears CRUSHED!

Beyoncé won’t be holding Britney Spears closer anytime soon.

The Grammy-winning singer had plans to absolutely blow 2023 out of the water, but those have since been crushed.

Queen Bey planned to collaborate with Spears by having her appear in a music video.

Sadly, those plans never came to fruition, Page Six learned.

At this point, it’s unclear why Beyoncé’s request to Spears fell through. Spears famously collaborated with Elton John on a remix of his 1972 hit, “Tiny Dancer,” last year.

Elton and Spears released a visual music video for “Hold Me Closer,” last year, and Spears even called the opportunity an honor.

This was the first time in years that the “Slave 4 U” singer released new music.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight of their collaboration, Spears said, "I was so honored when the incredible Sir Elton John asked me to join him on one his most iconic songs. We are so excited for the fans to hear it!" she said in a statement. "Thank you, Elton, for having me! I am so grateful that I got the opportunity to work with you and your legendary mind."

Elton had nothing but praise for the “Slave 4 U” singer as well.

"I am absolutely thrilled to have had the chance to work with Britney Spears; She truly is an icon, one of the all-time great pop stars and she sounds amazing on this record," he gushed about Spears. "I love her dearly and am delighted with what we've created together."

Since the beginning of the new year, Spears has raised a ton of fan’s eyebrows with her Instagram posts.

The Blast recently reported on the singer’s claims that she DID NOT attend a birthday party this weekend with Paris Hilton.

It’s all very bizarre.

There have been conspiracy theories floating around the web over the past few months that claim that the 41-year-old pop star is actually dead due to the number of old photos and videos that she has been posting.

Fans were relieved to hear reports coming in over the weekend that Spears had actually stepped out for Cade Hudson’s birthday bash, but on Monday, January 9th, the “Toxic” singer took to Instagram to claim that those pictures were “from years ago.”

On Monday night, the “Hold Me Closer” singer took to Instagram to share a 42-second long clip that featured her posing in a strapless red outfit and a tiny red skirt. The crop top said “Coca-Cola” over the top in its signature white lettering.

“Sorry about my post yesterday with no music ? !!! That was horrible ??? … oh well !!!” Britney began, referring to one of her deleted dancing videos. “Here’s me going through my closet realizing outfits I have never worn !!! I am a practical shopper but I was really surprised going through my closest and what I found !!!”

She then segued into the topic of interest: the birthday party photos.

“Also have no idea about these pics of me from a birthday party … I haven’t been to a bday party in forever !!!” she wrote. “And as for the pics, those have to be from years ago !!! Kind of creepy and weird that no one is talking about that … makes no sense whatsoever !!!”

Hilton on the other hand disagreed with Spears’ theory.

She was criticized for Photoshopping BS into the pics, but she was adamant that she did not!

Hilton went on to explain that the photos were taken over the weekend and she used a filter app to smooth out the photo.
