Lauren Conrad Says Goodbye To Her Lifestyle Blog; 'Being A Designer Has Always Been My First Love'

After approximately 12 years of writing blog posts to keep her fans in the know, Lauren Conrad has decided to say goodbye to her lifestyle blog to make room for a better work life balance. The reality star turned fashion designer recently explained her decision in her last blog post titled, "A Goodbye to the Blog."

Conrad, 36, explained her decision and shared her gratitude for all those who have kept up with her via the nearly 12-year-old blog. "Back in 2011, when blogs were in their early years, I decided to start a lifestyle site to share my love of cooking, crafting, fashion, beauty, and décor," she started her goodbye blog post. "This website has been a very special place to me. I’ve shared so many milestones, interests, and projects over the years and I’ve listened to your feedback and taken it to heart. But the truth is that being a designer has always been my first love."

The designer continued to explain that business has gotten busier, leaving less time to focus on her blog. "And as that business has grown for me over the years, I’ve had less time to devote to this blog. I always strive to have a healthy work life balance, and when I’m not designing for LC Lauren Conrad and Little Co., I prefer to spend most of my free time with my husband and kids," she explained. "It’s been a tough decision and a long time coming, but it’s time to say goodbye to the blog here on LaurenConrad.com."

Her goodbye post also gave her fans some ideas on how they can keep up with all that's going on with Conrad and revealed that her @laurenconradco Instagram page will also be ending.

"Luckily, there are still plenty of ways to keep up with my current projects. While my team and I won’t be posting on the blog or on the @laurenconradco Instagram, we’re still the ones behind the @lclaurenconrad and @lclittleco channels," she wrote. "We’ll also be updating the Collection Pages regularly with imagery and links to my latest collections. Plus, the Editorial archives will be here for you, so you can still access your favorite recipes, DIY tutorials, and more."

She concluded her last blog post with gratitude. "I am forever grateful for all of the support you’ve shown this site over the years," she signed off her last blog post.

Conrad, mom to sons Liam James, 5, and Charlie Wolf, 3, with husband William Tell, manages to keep a healthy work life balance and spend as much time with her family as possible. At the end of summer, she took a beach trip with her family and shared some snaps on her Instagram page in a post captioned, "We said goodbye to Summer in our happy place watching the sun rise and set, eating PB&Js on the beach and taking long walks."

While Conrad doesn't post too much on her personal Instagram page, she does periodically share photos of her family and her work projects. In her most recent carousel of photos, the reality star recapped her 2022.

Many of Conrad's social media followers, fans, and friends dropped into the comment section to leave their thoughts on her 2022 photo dump. "It’s the tee shirt on the stick ⛵️ William building the epic structure ? and the stickers on mirror for me ?," one person wrote. Another added, "It’s the stickers all over the mirror for me ? mom life."
