Cheryl Burke is opening up about her new show!

After experiencing heartbreak in her life last year, from divorcing her husband of three years, Matthew Lawrence, and leaving "Dancing With The Stars," where she danced for over a decade, fans wondered what she would move on to next. Starting the new year on a great note, the star revealed details about her new talk show with exciting and unique content.

Cheryl Burke Discloses How The Birth Of Her New Show Came About

Leaving a place one has been for a long time can be daunting, especially when it's something you love. That was the case for Burke, but instead of resting on her oars, she has grabbed on to the next best thing she enjoys, diamond painting, while exchanging stories. 

She took to her Instagram page and explained how her new talk show came about alongside videos and pictures of herself preparing for a press interview. In the first slide, she posed for a full-length mirror selfie that showed off the beautiful mustard-colored suit she had on, paired with gold heels, some light nude makeup, and wavy hair.

The TV star then posted a video of herself getting ready with her wet hair wrapped up in a white towel and complained about the time difference and how she would be talking about "Diving Deep." The last slide contained excerpts from her morning interview with FOX news and her show, where she talked with Amanda Kloots. Alongside the snaps, she wrote in the caption:

"I am absolutely overwhelmed with the amount of love and excitement about Diving Deep. It means the world to me!" The entrepreneur disclosed that the show began during the COVID-19 lockdown when she searched for a suitable hobby and discovered diamond painting.

She noted, "the competitive ballroom dancer in me saw that rhinestones were involved, and it was love at first sight." Once she realized it was therapeutic, she began to involve her friends via Instagram live. 

The TV personality revealed that it was initially named "All That Glitters," and while looking forward to it each week, she discovered that she learned something new about each friend. 

Burke explained that the process was not about finishing the entire painting but the healing from it, adding, "For once in my life, it isn't about the end goal, it is about the present time, the here and now."

The competitive ballroom dancer has high hopes for the new venture and might even be considered the next Oprah. Per The Blast, the show is set to air on the 10th of January via YouTube and Facebook.

The announcement came in a video montage alongside pictures of herself from when she was a baby. In the voice-over, the former "DWTS" pro mentioned her parent's divorce, being sexually abused, body issues, anxiety from being on the screen, and how it led to her abusing alcohol. 

It also contained a few excerpts from some guests, especially the part where one of them called her the next Oprah. In the caption, she gushed about being excited about the series and mentioned some of the names from her star-studded list. The message ended with the host asking her audience to prepare for a memorable time and then listing her team's names.

Cheryl Burke Is Leaving The Past Behind And Embracing New Beginnings

After a tumultuous year, Burke noted that she was ready to let it all go and concentrate on creating new things for herself. The Blast shared that Burke declared that she would be leaving all her past baggage behind in a video on New Year's eve. 

In it, the model took a stroll down a path and placed her hands on her waist before letting her fans know she was emotional because she made it through the year despite challenges. 

"When you see me crying at 11:59 pm on NYE, don't think it's because I'm sad. It's because I f*king MADE IT through the year that did everything it could to try and break me," the caption began.

The "PrimeTime Emmy Award" winner disclosed that there were moments she was unsure about making it and that she had come to the end of defining her future with the past. The star expressed readiness at starting a new chapter and that she could not wait to show what she was made of.
