Kris Jenner Will Miss Tristan Thompson's Mother's 'Bright Spirit & Amazing Light'

Kris Jenner is remembering the amazing woman that was Tristan Thompson’s mother.

The matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family paid tribute to the NBA star’s late mother, Andrea, on Instagram.

She shared a carousel of photos featuring her, Khloe Kardashian, Tristan, Andrea and True Thompson throughout the years.

Jenner captioned the memories, “I am so heartbroken by the sudden passing of Tristan’s mom, Andrea. My thoughts, prayers and all of my love are with Tristan, Amari, Dishawn and Daniel. You were the most amazing, dedicated, devoted, and selfless mom and such a loving, kind, and fabulous grandmother.”

She added what a blessing she was to her family before adding, “I will miss you Andrea. I will miss your bright spirit and amazing light. Thank you for always praying for us and lifting us up and encouraging us along the way. Rest in peace beautiful angel ?❤️.”

Jenner tagged Tristan Thompson in the post.

Khadijah commented, “We love you Andrea and will miss you dearly ???.”

Longtime family friend Faye Resnick wrote, “Terrible news, Andrea was so young and vibrant and such a great mom ? Prayers to @realtristan13 and his family ??.”

Tom Hanks’s wife, Rita Wilson, wrote, “Condolences to the family. So very sad.”

Jonathan Cheban used a couple of emojis to express his feelings, “?? ❤️❤️.”

At the time of this writing, no other Kar-Jenner daughter had commented on the passing of TT’s mother.

The Blast reported the shocking news on Friday, January 6th.

the NBA star’s mother, Andrea, died unexpectedly in Toronto on Thursday, January 5th.

She suffered a heart attack in her home this week, and she was rushed to a local hospital where medical responders worked to resuscitate her.

Sadly, their valiant efforts weren’t enough to save her life.

TT left Los Angeles as soon as he got the news, so that he could be with his family in Canada.

Tristan has yet to publicly comment on his mother’s passing.

Andrea has been involved in the Kardashian’s lives since Khloe and Tristan got together in 2016.

They welcomed their first child together in 2018 and their second via surrogate in 2022.

TMZ reported that Khloe flew to Toronto to be by her ex-boyfriends' side.

The former couple were spotted together deplaning a private jet. Sources say KK joined TT to provide comfort and support during such a difficult time.

You may recall, Khloe lost her father, Robert Kardashian Sr., when she was a young adult. She took his death extremely hard.

Khloe and Tristan have not reconciled as a couple, but they do co-parent their two children. TT has been spotted at multiple family gatherings and parties since their 2021 breakup.

The Good American co-founder has praised Tristan for his hands-on parenting, but can't say that for him being a faithful, monogamous partner.

This is the second time Khloe has shown her true colors as a supportive and caring ex-girlfriend. In 2015, her ex-husband, Lamar Odom suffered a near fatal overdose and she rushed to be by his side then, and even aided him throughout his recovery.

Odom's recovery was extremely extensive and intense.
