Melanie Martin Reminisces On Love Late Aaron Carter Could Have Experienced From Son
Since his exit, the mother-of-one has taken to sharing her thoughts and fears through her Instagram story to heal, as she sometimes blames herself for what happened. This time she posted a collage of the father-son duo, with the late rapper holding two positive pregnancy test wands and smiling widely at the top and their happy little boy at the bottom. At the right side of the picture, she mused:
"Aaron needed to experience what it's like to not only love your child… but feel what it's like to be loved by your own child. It would have been so healing for him ❤️."
This is coming on the heels of another time she remembered their sometimes tumultuous love on what would have been the third year they met. The Blast noted that she shared their mostly happy moments and reflected on how she had tried to protect him from people she described as "Vultures."
The clip was taken while they quarantined together during the COVID-19 pandemic. The former teen pop star looked happy and at peace, cuddling with their furry pup while the pet pug looked on jealously.
Other parts of the montage featured the couple out on date night exchanging kisses, the 34-year-old showing off his skills on the piano with a freestyle, going on errands with Martin, and complaining about her lipstick on his coffee cup.
Some more memories included the pair watching the sunset, posing for a full-length mirror selfie, and having fun together. "I met you 3 years ago today💔 and you changed my life for the better and gave me a family," the content creator began the emotional caption, adding, "I miss you so much.💔"
The entrepreneur explained that the videos were all during the height of the pandemic, which meant that everything was calm without "everyone trying to weasel their way into his life like Vultures." The social media influencer ended the caption with some advice: "Cherish your loved ones and try as hard as you can to keep them safe. I know I did as much as I could. 🦋🦋🦋🦋"
Her fans rushed to post words of encouragement to her, like someone who wrote, "What true love looks like, Melanie. You were his angel. You were so loved, and now he's your angel forever. 💞💞"
Another follower thanked her for sharing their private memories, writing, "Thank you for sharing this awesome video full of pure love, kindness, and happiness 🙌❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🙌"
One other user tried to comfort her by noting that the love the "Fool's Gold" singer had for her was pure and beautiful and that he always chose her above anyone else, adding, "he gave you the missing piece of your life, and that's your beautiful baby boy."
The person ended by stating that if Carter were alive, he would still put her first because he loved her and their little boy so much while remarking that she always stayed when other people came in and out of his life.
Martin Regains Custody Of Her And Aaron Carter's Son
The former nail shop owner won a major victory since her fiance's passing, winning the case of custody for their one-year-old boy Prince, who was born in November 2021. The Blast shared that he was previously placed in the care of her mother due to rumors of drug abuse and domestic violence concerns.
According to reports, Martins, who was in New York during the hearing, hopped on a straight flight to Los Angeles once the court ruled in her favor. She expressed her happiness to TMZ, saying that she was honoring Carter and knew that he would be incredibly proud of her.
She admitted to being very emotional whenever she remembered that they could have been a family, but, "Aaron would be so happy knowing I got him back." In a surprising turn of events, the late star's mother was also pleased with the decision saying that the child belongs with his mother.
