Bosworth Experienced A Devastating Injury That Has Impacted Her Relationship With Physical Activity

Bosworth's dedication to wellness had been greatly impacted by a difficult period wherein she experienced two notable health struggles.

In 2021, The Blast reported on a freak accident that happened to Bosworth two years prior. She had previously spoken about the incident publicly on Instagram.

According to our report, Bosworth was having dinner in Manhattan when she was significantly injured by a door in the restaurant. The swinging door "ripped off its hinges and fell on her head."

The Love Wellness would suffer a brain injury as a result of the accident and her daily life would be impacted for a long time afterward.

"I still struggle to recall words from time to time and get my thoughts out coherently two years later," Bosworth recalled of the incident.

She was also diagnosed with Mononucleosis shortly after the incident.

Bosworth would also provide more insight into her relationship with self-care and exercise following the incident.

Her commitment to taking care of her health was inspired in part by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and the amount of time it took her to recover from the aforementioned health events.

Bosworth concluded the Instagram post wherein she spoke about the injury, "This post is dedicated to my health and your health- precious and sometimes taken for granted. If you have it, take advantage of it."

"Love Yourself Well" also includes "A 5-week wellness plan" around the challenge, more than 20 recipes curated by Bosworth, plans designed around supplements and exercise, and "a list of toxins to toss."

In an Instagram post from Tuesday Bosworth explains more about the book in a reel.

"As if you need a reminder, I'm going to give you a reminder," Bosworth tells her followers in the reel, "January 7th, you, me, everyone, we're doing the 'Love Yourself Well' plan together. "Oops! I started on 1/1- loving it so far!" another follower writes.

Several followers brought up "Laguna Beach" across Bosworth's two posts about her book.

"Totally random," a follower commented on Bosworth's post from last week, "but I am currently rewatching 'Laguna Beach,' it's funny bc all of the ladies predicted what each other would be doing in ten years. They said you (Lo) would be a successful CEO/business woman... you said 'no way,' but... here you are."

"Laguna Beach" and "The Hills" are both currently streaming on Netflix. Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti also have a successful rewatch podcast about the series called "Back To The Beach." Its upcoming season will focus on the second season of "Laguna Beach" and new episodes will be released beginning later in January!
