Reality Television personality and “The Hills“ star Lo Bosworth opened up recently about a life changing experience that traumatized her.

She recalled when she had an accident at a restaurant that made her frequent the hospital due to mild and severe concussions. She also had to take leave from work for the healing process.

She hid all these as they were unknown to the public until recently when she shared the news. Keep reading to know more about the star’s experience

Lauren Bosworth also known as Lo Bosworth, is a former American reality star and also the founder and CEO of “Love wellness.”

She  is popularly known for her role as a cast member in “Laguna Beach : The Real Orange County” as well as “The Hills.”

The 34-year-old actress and business woman born September 29, 1986 spoke  via an Instagram post, about a traumatizing life experience she suffered two years ago that  still affects her daily life routine till date. She also enlightened her fans on the importance of good health.

The Tragic Accident

As stated before, Bosworth made it known to her Instagram followers what happened to her two years ago.

In her post, she wrote that in March, she was at a restaurant in lower Manhattan, and was seated at the banquet of the restaurant. After a while, a swinging kitchen door ripped off its hinges and fell on her head.

Eventually Bosworth suffered a brain injury and was rushed to the hospital. She the  recalled visiting her friend several weeks after the incident and getting lost.

 “I still struggle to recall words from time to time and get my thoughts out coherently 2 years later,” she said.

After the restaurant  accident, Bosworth was also diagnosed with another illness called Mononucleosis. Nevertheless, neither her concussions nor the viral infection stopped her from working full-time on her women-central care project, “Love Wellness.”

Although, she stressed her need for rest. The viral infection apparently is one that is marked by extreme fatigue, high fever, and swollen lymph nodes.

It is very clear that Bosworth is a very strong and determined young woman and no doubt an inspiration to other women in the world.

Bosworth’s Care Routine & Advice To Others

Bosworth is committed to her health and self care. She also spoke about her commitment to healthy eating and fitness since the start of the pandemic.

According to her, it is attributed to the fact that it took her a complete year, from the terrible head injury to the viral infection, for her to be in a state where she considers exercising regularly.

Bosworth wrote; “This post is dedicated to my health and your health – precious and sometimes taken for granted. If you have it, take advantage of it.”
