Simone Biles Is 'Walking Into 2023' With Fiancé Jonathan Owens Literally By Her Side

Simone Biles kicked off the new year with a hot photo of her and her fiancé Jonathan Owens. 

The new year is already looking good for the legendary gymnast who had the love of her life by her side at the start.

Recall that the adorable duo met via a dating app in 2020, and their relationship then was quite restricted because of the Covid 19. However, their love blossomed, and in 2022, they announced their engagement. 

“Walking into 2023,” Biles captioned the image on Instagram, which indeed showed her and her beau walking. The slightly blurred photograph showed the talented gymnast rocking a black mini dress paired with a matching sandal heel, while her beau looked handsome in a brown two-piece paired with white sneakers. 

He firmly held her hand and stared lovingly at her as they walked across a white background with huge smiles on their faces. Fans of the lovebirds filled the comments section with several beautiful notes while highlighting their anticipation for their wedding. 

An excited fan noted, “Official countdown is on to your 4ever!, and another sharing the same excitement said, “I can’t wait to see your wedding because I know it will be amazing.”

An admirer jokingly added, “HOPEFULLY WALKING INTO A WEDDING??” and another sought to know the date of the wedding. 

Since the sweethearts started dating, they’ve countlessly stunned the media with cute images of them. One such time The Blast reported that Biles and Owens set the Internet ablaze when the athlete posted steamy photos of them packing PDA. 

The star Olympian wore an exposing cowgirl-inspired bikini costume that showed her lower bum and hugged her curves in all the right places. She paired the ensemble with black suede boots and a Fedora hat. Owens, on the other hand, the American football safety, rocked a black and white shirt over black jeans.

In one snap, the duo locked lips, and in another image, Owens held onto his woman's waist. Captioning the post, the athlete referred to how her man made her feel, writing, “Wanted and wild.” Fans gushed about the snaps. One commenter wrote, “It’s the way y’all look at each other ???.” While another fan joked, “My phone just caught on fire. ??.”

It appears that fans will hear wedding bells from the lovebirds this year as the couple has started making plans for their nuptials.

In August, we reported that Biles revealed some of her wedding plans to her curious fans. In a question and answer segment, a fan requested that the Olympic medalists give a color pallet hint for the wedding. Replying to this, the decorated gymnast gave detail of her preferred color listing, “gold, white, champagne. Timeless, classy, elegant.”

Another fan wanted to know how many kids the couple wished to have, to which Biles replied, “I want 2. that’s my max haha UNLESS I had twins. I only wanna go through 2 pregnancies. Jonathan wants 3, though. I don’t like the oddness.”

The Presidential Medal of Freedom awardee further disclosed that the most challenging part of planning a wedding was setting a date and finding a location, highlighting that they were the bedrock of any wedding. And once they are fixed, every other thing will fall into place.

The husband-to-be also made an appearance, and he, too, shared what the wedding planning felt like for him. According to Owens, the most stressful part of the process was making a guest list and sticking to the required number of guests. 

Later, the bride-to-be shared a checklist for the wedding plans, and the words “date” and “venue” were ticked, seemingly confirming that both items have been settled.

While the pair are making plans for their special day, the NFL champion is also achieving incredible feats. He hosted a free football camp in his St. Louis hometown as a way of giving back to society. 

The 25-year-old athlete celebrated her beau’s accomplishment with a sweet tribute.  She wrote on her Instagram page alongside an image of the football star, “I’m so proud of my fiancé,” the artistic gymnast wrote on Instagram, adding, “for hosting his very 1st football camp in St. Louis. this year is your year, baby, let’s get it.”
