After having a health scare last December, British-American TV personality Sharon Osbourne reconnected with her fans in a video message to ring in the New Year.

Osbourne was admitted to a hospital to get medical attention for what was deemed a medical emergency after taking ill while working on the set of a new TV show in California.

The former reality TV star has wished fans well for the new year and revealed that she will be coming back to her UK chat show "The Talk."

Sharon Osbourne Shares First Video Following Her Hospitalization

The 70-year-old former "X Factor" judge addressed her followers on social media and provided a reassuring update on her return to the UK "The Talk." She posted an Instagram video and captioned it, "I'm back! Tomorrow January 3rd on @thetalkuk"

This marks the first time Osbourne has spoken on video since her hospitalization in December 2022. She appeared in good spirits as she expressed her sincere wishes for her fans.

The "The Talk" host wore her custom rouge bob and a blue plaid jacket with an embroidered collar for a laid-back appearance. In her video message, she stood in an opulent living room, highlighting her features with usual smokey eye makeup look.

"Hi, everybody at The Talk and everybody who watches The Talk. I want to just let you know I will be back January 3rd," she disclosed in the video.

She added, "I've missed you all very, very much, and I know I keep saying I'm coming back, but this time it's for real! And I just want to say to you all, have the best, healthy, happy holidays and a happy new year. Love you all."

She Was Hospitalized After Suffering A Medical Emergency

Osbourne was rushed to the hospital after suffering a medical emergency while working on the set of a new TV show at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, California, per TMZ.

According to the news outlet, an official from the Ventura County Department noted that around 6:30 PM on Friday, EMS personnel responded to a "medical call" from the Tavern inn where Osbourne was filming, and one patient was taken to Santa Paula Hospital. Santa Paula Police Chief Don Aguilar confirmed Osbourne was the patient.

Except for confirming in May 2022 that she contracted covid from her husband, the former reality star has never before spoken about any serious health concerns she may have had.

Osbourne's son, Jack, confirmed on Instagram that the talk show host was filming "The Night Of Terror" show with him after news of her hospitalization.

"OK, here's what I'll say - first things first. My mother wasn't filming a [sic] episode of @ghostadventures. She was filming a new episode of 'Night of Terror' with me. Hahaha," he said, adding, "Now that we have made that clear... She had been given the all clear from her medical team and is now home."

He thanked everyone who had reached out to him and said he would leave the details of what had happened for his mother to reveal when she was ready.

After the Coming Home author made public knowledge of her return to "The Talk," fans took to social media to express their delight.

One happy fan hinted, "Alright, I will watch it just because of you, If you leave again, I'm done with that show, love you, Mrs. O." Another fan said, "haven't watched it since you left, I'll tune in when you're back!"

"I stopped watching the talk when you left, but welcome back, and I'll be watching it since your return, Mrs. O." An excited fan shared.
