MrBeast Breaks Records For YouTube Subscribers And TikTok Followers

Jimmy Donaldson, more commonly known as MrBeast on social media, is breaking records on multiple platforms. He recently shared the news on Instagram that his TikTok account was the most followed and his YouTube channel the most subscribed in 2022.

MrBeast, 24, had a great 2022! He became the most subscribed person on YouTube with more than 125 million subscribers with more being added daily. He began posting videos on YouTube back in 2012 and in 2017 his big viral moment had arrived. According to YT Battles, a Twitter account that tracks YouTube analytics, MrBeast's YouTube channel was at the top of the list for week 51 of 2022. He gained more than 2 million viewers from December 19-25.

MrBeast took to his Instagram Stories to share the big news. During 2022, Mr. Beast's YouTube channel gained more than 37.9 million followers. And over on TikTok, his account is the most followed page in 2022.

MrBeast currently has nearly 68 million followers on TikTok, more than 22 million on Instagram and 125 million on YouTube. His videos get tons and tons of views, likes, and comments on each social media platform.

He certainly knows how to get people's attention on each platform. A simple TikTok video collab with @Argenby that he shared just three days ago already has 61 million views, 8.5 million likes and more than 100K comments.

Simply captioned, "Sigma x Beast," one follower wrote in the comments, "Bro posted it 2 hours ago and got 1.2 million likes and that's sigma?."

Known for giving money away like candy, MrBeast recently rolled up to a McDonald's drive-through and handed out thousands of dollars to the workers as a Christmas bonus. His video very quickly got more than 11 million views.

His Halloween videos also got tons of attention. Surprised trick-or-treaters got iPhones in their treat buckets and bags. "Hey! You want an iPhone?" he asked kids as they knocked on his door. One kid in a Minecraft costume got two iPhones for his cool costume.

TikTok followers had a blast in the comment section talking about the fun Halloween the kids ended up having unknowingly visiting MrBeast. "Imagine going trick or treating and Mr. Beast opens the door ?," one follower wrote. Another added, "Living in MrBeast's neighborhood is a wise financial decision." Another follower shared what their strategy would be in this situation saying, "The way I would change into a different costume and come back. ?"

In addition to all his online success, MrBeast opened MrBeast Burger in American Dream in New Jersey in early September. Thousands of fans filled the mall's food court during the grand opening in anticipation of meeting MrBeast as well as trying out some burgers and fries.

TikTok famous Corn Kid, aka 7-year-old Tariq, also joined MrBeast during the grand opening to try out the food. The two popular social media icons have done a few collabs since, keeping the unlikely friendship going strong.
