28-year-old actress Madelaine Petsch rose to fame thanks to her role as Cheryl Blossom on the CW show “Riverdale.”
Though the hit show is coming to an end in 2023, Petsch is looking forward to the New Year.
Madelaine Petsch Rings In The New Year
The 28-year-old started off the New Year on the right foot -- smiling from ear to ear and surrounded by her loved ones.
To kiss 2022 goodbye, the "Riverdale" star decided to rock a simple black skirt paired with an olive green-colored top. The sleeves had peacock-like feathers but it was held together with one simple string near her chest area. The star went braless to show off her stunning physique.
"happy me and happy new year ❣️," she captioned the post.
Petsch was surrounded by her boyfriend, Halsey's manager Anthony Li, as well as close friend and "Riverdale" co-star, Lili Reinhart, as she said goodbye to 2022 and hello to 2023.

In another photo, the "Riverdale" star can be seen sitting down as she shows off her New Year's look, which was complete with knee high black boots.
Fans loved the look Petsch wore as one fan commented, "Your outfit reminds me of the movie “13 going on 30” and I don’t know why!"
"I love how you wore green, you owned green “last year”💚🧚✨," another user wrote.
One of Pettis's followers noticed how happy the "Riverdale" star looks as they commented, "SEEING U HAPPY IS LITTHE BEST THING EVER OMGG🤍🤍."
“Riverdale” Nears The End
“Riverdale” has been airing on CW since 2017. The show is based on the Archie Comics series and stars KJ Apa
as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, Vanessa Morgan as Toni Topaz, Casey Cott as Kevin Keller, and Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy.
As “Riverdale” is now coming to an end, Madelaine Petsch spoke out on her role, Cheryl Blossom, and how she is able to get in and out of that character — and how that has taught her on how to better herself for future projects.
“Cheryl speaks incredibly quickly and I find when Riverdale’s over, I have to snap myself out of that,” she told Collider. “So that would probably be something that needs to be left in the dust. And things that I’m looking forward to exploring? Kind of everything. I have definitely gotten to dive into a lot of other projects and I’m so thankful and happy and love them all.”
Madelaine Petsch Speaks On Most Recent Project
Petsch recently starred in the holiday film “Hotel for the Holidays,” which she says was a lot of fun to do.
“I just did Hotel for the Holidays and I think doing a comedy and a lighthearted piece was so fun,” she continued to tell Collider. “I really would love to do more comedy and get to have fun on set [laughs], and not just be crying and running away from monsters and serial killers all the time.”
The seventh and final season of “Riverdale” is expected to air in 2023 on CW. Seasons one through six are currently streaming on Netflix.
