Kelly Rizzo Is Grateful To Have Spent Last Christmas With Bob Saget

"Cherish every single moment," the travel creator advised fans as she shed more light on why she gave such counsel, recalling her last Christmas with Saget. She shared:

"I certainly didn't think that our first Christmas together (in the same city) last year would be our last. (it was the first year he came to Chicago to spend Christmas with my family along with my wonderful step-daughter, Lara)."

Rizzo was "so glad" to have the special moments with her beloved late husband, and she mentioned that he spent time with her niece, Alex, and got to meet her other niece, Brooklyn.

According to her, the late actor left a lasting impression as Alex, who was two at the time, still remembers "Uncle Bob" and speaks of him "every single day."

Although the "Miami Models" actress was grateful for the impact his presence had on her family, she also noted that he was like that with everyone he met. Speaking more about the festive season, she penned in her Instagram message, "The holidays are a time for hope, love, and togetherness."

She then sent prayers to those missing loved ones this period, hoping they are "blessed with many deep and loving memories and gratitude that will help carry you through." Rizzo expressed thanks again for having had Saget, an "incredible man," in her life and for being in his for six years. There is no "greater Christmas present" to her than that.

Including her fans in the lengthy tribute, she wrote, "Sending love and prayers and wishes to you all. And I cannot thank you all enough for almost a full year of all the love and support, and kindness from everyone."

The heartwarming gestures from her supporters meant a lot to her as she penned so in conclusion, adding that she only hoped to show her appreciation and return the favor a bit over time. Attached to the note were four lovely pictures of the couple at The Peninsula, Chicago, posing in different outfits in the foyer and with Christmas decor in the backdrop.

The first slide showed them holding hands, while Saget had his arm around Rizzo's shoulder in the second and last pictures. Meanwhile, the third snap showed the actress leaning on her man. Fans would recall that since the passing of the "Full House" actor earlier in January, his grieving widow has continuously honored and remembered him, acknowledging their sacred union.

Not long after Rizzo marked her fourth wedding anniversary with the late Saget, she paid homage to his memory in a permanent way.

As The Blast covered, she gave him a lasting spot – a new tattoo – on her arm, which she flaunted on her Insta Story.

The ink was a martini glass, drawn just before her elbow, and in an attached note, she explained the sentiment behind her choice.  "My tattoo for Bob," the 43-year-old wrote, "He loved his martinis so much." She also credited Rick Coury, a Laguna Beach-based tattoo artist, for the drawing.

Meanwhile, marking nine months since the "Fuller House" actor's death, Rizzo shared a heartfelt Instagram reel showing the pair engaged in a game of how well they knew each other.
