Stamos’ recollection of Saget’s advice was a clear indication that he still misses his friend, who passed on on January 9 after he performed in a stand-up show in Florida.
Saget, who was meant to return home after the performance, was found dead in his hotel room after his wife, Kelly Rizzo, reached out to the hotel attendants about not hearing from him in hours.
Following Saget’s death, Stamos shared on Instagram a eulogy, where he opened up about being unable to accept that his dear friend was dead.
The actor wrote in the January 11 post,” I’m not ready to accept that he’s gone – I’m not going to say goodbye yet. I’m going to imagine him out there, still on the road, doing what he loves with all his heart and humor.”
‘It’s Just Not The Same Without Him’

In light of his close bond with Saget, Stamos shared that he was not keen about starring in another reboot of “Full House” if given the opportunity.
“It’s just not the same without him,” John said per E! News. “There’s something missing, there’s a piece missing. We’re doing a lot of tributes. I did that Netflix tribute [June’s Dirty Daddy: The Bob Saget Tribute], which was beautiful, I thought. Every chance I get, I talk about him. If we’re real quiet, we could hear him complaining right now that I don’t talk about him enough.”
From 1987 to 1995, Stamos starred as Jesse Katsopolis, while Saget portrayed Danny Tanner in ABC’s “Full House.” The pair reprised their roles in “Fuller House,” which was originally released in February 2016 on Netflix.
