"Dance Moms" alum JoJo Siwa has subtly come after her ex-girlfriend Avery Cyrus for allegedly using their relationship to garner more social media relevance. The YouTuber was seen ranting in a video posted on Sunday, which revealed that she was mad at her ex for using her to gain more views and clout.

The video comes a few days after fans got wind that the pair had broken up, to which Cyrus explained that they had agreed they were better off as friends. Before her relationship with Cyrus, Jojo was in an on-again, off-again romance with Kylie Prew, which ended in May 2022.

In a video posted on Jojo's mum, Jessalynn Siwa, Instagram story, the "Dance Moms" alum was seen subtly accusing her ex-girlfriend Cyrus of trying to profit off her fame during the time they were together.

The short clip started with Jessalynn asking the "Kid in a Candy Store" singer why she was upset, to which Jojo responded in a manner that showed she was still traumatized by her breakup from the TikTok influencer.

'Because I got used, for views and for clout!' Jojo answered the question while pacing back and forth as her mother recorded, per Page Six. "I got tricked into being told I was in love, and I got f**king played."

Prior to starting a relationship with Jojo three months ago, Cyrus' TikTok videos regularly earned slightly over a million views, but appearances by her celebrity girlfriend during the course of the relationship led views to soar to three to ten times the average amount.

'We Are Better Off As Friends'

Fans got wind that Jojo and Cyrus had parted ways after the TikTok influencer posted a clip on the video-sharing platform from their Caribbean cruise ship experience with a couple of friends.

In the clip, Jojo can be seen presenting a parting gift to Cyrus to mark their decision to go their separate ways.

"This is my 'I'm sorry I'm breaking up with you' present," Siwa said with a huge grin on her face.

In the comment section of the post, a fan asked Cyrus what spurred the split, to which she responded by explaining how she and Jojo didn't see themselves remaining together in the near future,

"We decided that we are better off as friends," Cyrus had replied, adding, "We are both so young and still just trying to figure our stuff out!"

In light of Jojo's recent rant, it is now unclear if the decision to remain friends still holds. The YouTuber tirade is her only reference to the split, which clearly shows she is still reeling from the breakup.

Jojo and Cryus were first linked in August when they appeared in a collaborative TikTok video. Although they stated they were friends at the time, their body language suggested something more was going on between the duo.

The pair proceeded to make joint TikTok videos in the weeks that followed and left suggestive comments on one other's posts, which encouraged relationship rumors.

In September, they finally confirmed their relationship after Jojo uploaded on TikTok a video of themselves kissing each other during a fun outing at a gaming center.

Jojo had an on-again, off-again romance with Prew before she started dating Cyrus. They broke up and reunited twice between early 2021 and May 2022.

"I don't like drama, and it makes me really, really anxious, and so I don't want to talk about it for a while, but, um, someone asked me just now if I was single [and] I am," Prew said in an Instagram Livestream confirming the breakup, per Page Six.

She then claimed that the breakup was not "messy" and that it occurred a few months before she recorded the video.

"I've been single for almost two months, and it's OK. It's not deep, I promise. Everything's fine. Not everything has to be messy and gross because it's not, and I just want to clear the air."
