Aaron Paul, 43, is known for his iconic role as Jesse Pinkman in the popular television series “Breaking Bad.”
Although what fans may not realize is that Aaron Paul is actually a stage name, and his legal last name is Sturtevant. But it won’t be that way for long as the “Breaking Bad” actor is legally changing his name.
Aaron Paul Will Change His Name Legally
As reported by The Blast last month, the 43-year-old “Breaking Bad” actor filed to legally change his family’s last name to Paul, as well as the first and middle name of his seven-month-old baby boy.
His wife, Lauren, also filed to take the last name of Paul. The two also filed to change their son’s name, which is currently Casper Emerson Paul, to Ryden Caspian Paul.
Now, Aaron Paul, his wife, and their son officially got the approval for their name change petition. Their hearing date is today, December 19, 2022, but there is no appearance needed as the petition will be granted.
Aaron Paul’s Family
In 2020, the actor hinted at wanting more kids when speaking to Haute Living. “Fatherhood has definitely changed me,” he said. “Having a child is the closest thing to magic that anyone can have. I see why people rush home to be there when they get home from school. You don’t want to miss any of it.”
Paul continued, “It’s easily the best chapter of my life. … I feel I’m in a good place. I can’t wait to have another baby, and I’m so excited to see what 40 has to offer. I’m just excited to be around, to be alive. I’m just happy to be here. Life is good.”
And earlier this year, Paul and his wife welcomed their second child — a baby boy.
“My little man. Ryden Caspian Paul. So happy you are out in this world you beautiful boy you,” Paul wrote on Instagram at the time. “I promise to make you proud little guy. We have been absorbing this baby boy for the last month and feel it’s time to finally share the news of his arrival. We love you endlessly.”
Bryan Cranston And Aaron Paul Promote Dos Hombres Mezcal
Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul worked together for years on the television show “Breaking Bad,” but now that the show has come to an end, the two are continuing to work together for their Dos Hombres mezcal business.
The two love working together, but Bryan Cranston gave a lot of the credit of the business to his partner. “If not for Aaron, this business wouldn’t take off. It wouldn’t have been anything because it was his idea,” Cranston told CNBC Make It.
Aaron Paul also spoke about the business, saying the days are long, but worth it.
“You’ve just got to go out and pound the pavement,” Paul told CNBC Make It. “The hours are ruthless when we’re doing these tours. I mean, I’m not exaggerating that we have these 17 hour days. It’s brutal, but we have a good time doing it.”
“It’s important for Bryan and I, as founders of this company, that [our business partners] know that we are doing the work. We don’t want to just slap our names on something and let other people do the work,” the 43-year-old continued. “This is our baby, and we’re incredibly proud of our baby.”
