Miley Cyrus knows a thing or two about reinventing herself!
The 30-year-old entertainer has become one of the most identifiable popular culture figures of the last two decades. Cyrus' commitment to constantly reviving her career undoubtedly contributes to her legacy.
The former "Hannah Montana" star is a long way from her Disney days when she was most identifiable by Hannah's signature blonde wig. For her last album, 2020's "Plastic Hearts," Cyrus channeled famous rocker chicks from the 1980s, sporting a similar style to Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry, and also enlisting musicians from the era to contribute to the LP; Billy Idol and Joan Jett both credits on the album.
Prior to "Plastic Hearts," she channeled the sun-kissed and Malibu-inspired vibes of her single of the same name for the album "Younger Now."
Cyrus has created her fair share of 'bangerz' over the years that have become closely associated with her era reinventions, and it seems as if she is in no hurry of slowing down!
Photos of billboards teasing a new era in her career have begun popping up around the world. Cyrus, herself, is leaning into the anticipation by teasing the idea on her social media accounts as well!

She will ring in the new year with her godmother, country music legend Dolly Parton! Cyrus and Parton have crossed paths multiple times in Cyrus' professional life. Parton appeared on "Hannah Montana" several times, and Cyrus has covered Parton's 1974 hit, "Jolene."
According to The Blast's report on the pair's upcoming appearance on Cyrus' upcoming New Year's Eve special, the special will air on NBC on December 31st.
Cyrus has memorialized her late friend Taylor Hawkins multiple times in 2022.
She was scheduled to perform with The Foo Fighters in March at the Festival Estéreo Picnic in Bogata, Columbia earlier this year. The band would not perform at the festival following Hawkins' death. Hawkins had been found dead in a hotel room in Columbia on March 25th. He was 50 years old.
Cyrus dedicated her first live performance following Hawkins' death to his memory. She tearfully performed "Angels Like You" from "Plastic Hearts" for Hawkins during her set at Lollapalooza.
