Sarah Hyland Is Grateful 'Tiny & Mischievous' Vanessa Hudgens Was By Her Side On Wedding Day

Sarah Hyland wouldn’t have wished for any other bridesmaid apart from her best friend, Vanessa Hudgens!

As fans may know, the “Modern Family” alum tied the knot with her boyfriend of four years, Wells Adams, in August. The wedding was held at Santa Ynez Valley, and Hyland’s “Modern Family” costar, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, officiated it.

In a recent post, the 31-year-old actress said she’s thankful for that sweet bond with the “Princess Switch” actress while wishing her a happy birthday. 

With their friendship going over a decade, Hyland felt blessed that her bestie was her bridesmaid on her special day. Fans got to see the tv host’s candid confessions of love for Hudgens in the birthday tribute sweetly written for her.

The “Geek Charming” actress did what every best friend would do on their bestie’s birthday, showering her with love. She shared on Instagram a carousel of pictures featuring her and her best pal of over a decade.

The first snap from the collection showed the bride and her bridesmaid holding bouquets, and Hyland had a mischievous smile. The following picture captured the moment when the pair shared a hug.

In the photos, the “High School Musical” star dazzled in a silk mauve gown with her hair loosely styled while Hyland stunned in an ivory silk Vera Wang custom-made dress. 

"We're tiny and mischievous ?," the “Love Island USA” host captioned the post. “Happy birthday to my other Sagittarius half! Over a decade of celebrating each other, and I'm still obsessed with our wild adventures through life."

She continued, “I'm so grateful to have had someone like you by my side on my wedding day ? I love you so much my Shushi!!!"  The “Princess Switch” actress sweetly responded to her friend’s show of love, writing, “Lol I love you so much."

Before the vineyard-themed ceremony, there was the bridal shower, where Hudgens and more of Hyland’s friends attended. 

From reports, the “Tick, Tick... Boom” actress spoke about Hyland’s bridal shower, highlighting that she felt emotional about it. 

“Oh my gosh, I am like, so emotional about it. I've known her for so long and we've been waiting for this wedding for so long, and then Covid happened and couldn't do it, but it's just so exciting. She looked so beautiful. I melt, I just melt.“

Hudgens posted a series of snaps from the celebrations detailing the event. One photo showed the bride dressed in a short white dress. For her pose, she sat cross-legged, placing her hands on her legs, which spotlighted her wedding ring.

Alongside the image, she wrote, “My girl @sarahhyland is getting married, and what a vision she is.” More images featured Hyland and her “Coven” of Friends.

As earlier stated, the union between the celebrity couple was officiated by Ferguson, for which the couple was grateful. 

Per The Blast, the new couple took to Instagram to celebrate the 47-year-old's birthday. They shared a video showing when Ferguson, who donned a navy blue suit and a white shirt wedded them.

In the clip, the Broadway star first made a joke before going into the details of marriage and how couples ought to completely love one another and then be open to each other.

The “Untraceable” actor further explained that couples should learn to cohabit, saying, “Like the earth, should your love be a firm foundation that grows stronger through the seasons. Like a star, should your love be a constant source of light. Like a flame, should your union be lit with passion and love in your hearts.”

As was his duty, he helped the pair exchange their vows and even incorporated a handfasting ritual to honor Hyland’s heritage before pronouncing them husband and wife.

Captioning the appreciation post to Ferguson, they wrote, “To be married by @jessetyler was a dream and a privilege. Jesse, you have been such an amazing friend, mentor, and an integral part of our lives. So happy birthday to the best officiant of all time! Our wedding truly would not have been as special without you ???‍♂️.”
