Tension was high during the Kansas City Chiefs vs Denver Broncosgame yesterday afternoon.

The Broncos were down 27-0 with nearly four minutes left of the first half, and Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was clearly frustrated.

During the second quarter, Jerry Jeudy was running a route when he felt a flag should have been called on the Kansas City Chiefs' defense. The refs did not call the penalty and the Broncos wide receiver proceeded to storm around the field, taking his helmet off, while screaming at the refs.

The incident was caught on camera and shared to social media, which can be seen in the Tweet below.

After the play was over, fans watched as Jeudy stormed around the field, took off his helmet, and pushed into a referee while on the field. Jeudy was not fined or flagged, which has NFL fans annoyed.

Fans did not hesitate to take to social media to share their frustrations as the referees did not throw a flag or fine Jeudy for removing his helmet or shoving into the referee.

One NFL fan Tweeted, "@jerryjeudy take offs his helmet, then purposely bumps into ref Trip Sutter and NO FLAG?? Hmm, what gives @nflcommish @NFL ?? Fine? #JerryJeudy #BroncosCountry."

At the time of the incident, the Broncos were down 27-0 with 3:45 left in the first half. Things turned around for Denver as Jeudy went on to have eight receptions for 73 yards and three touchdowns in the Broncos 34-28 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs.

After the game, the Broncos wide receiver spoke out on his behavior and frustrations during the second quarter.

"I was just—on that certain play, I got held," he said, according to FOX. "I was just frustrated because we didn’t have things going, so I was out there playing with frustration wanting to make a play for my team. I feel like at that point, I was just held and that should’ve been called, but I have to know how to control my anger and just move on from there."

With their 10th straight loss, the Denver Broncos were officially eliminated from playoff contention. Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson left the game in the fourth quarter after gaining 14 yards on the scramble. The quarterback then fell on his head along with a Chiefs defender falling on top of him, getting hit hard. He was evaluated for a concussion and was ruled out of the game shortly after.

"(He was) putting his body on the line, man. We can say all we want -- we're 3-9, they're 9-3 and the guy is out there battling his a** off, trying to win the game,'' Broncos backup quarterback Brett Rypien said, per ESPN. "That to me is somebody I want to follow.''

The Denver Broncos will take on the Arizona Cardinals next week.
