Mariah Carey's Daughter Monroe Joined Her On Stage To Duet A Song

During Mariah Carey's "Merry Christmas to All" show in Toronto on Saturday night, she was joined on stage by a very special guest - her daughter Monroe! The 11-year-old joined her mom on stage to duet the classic hymn "Away in a Manger" and viewers were blown away by the amazing surprise performance.

The heartwarming moment happened in front of thousands of Carey's fans during her iconic Christmas show. The mother and daughter team sat around Christmas decorations singing the classic holiday song together, both wearing glamorous matching white gowns and headbands.

As soon as Monroe let out her first few words, people in the audience cheered loud for her. And every verse Monroe sang, the louder the applause got. As the two finished the song, Monroe got up to exit the stage, but not before a kiss from her proud mom.

Carey posted a carousel of photos on Instagram from the memorable evening and many of her fans dropped into the comment section to leave their praise of the special performance.

"YOU DID AMAZING AS ALWAYS!!! the setlist is PHENOMENAL and I can’t wait to see you again Sunday???," one fan wrote. Many fans also commented on Monroe's performance. "LETS NOT FORGET HOW SLAY ROE WAS!," one follower said. Another fan wrote, "An unforgettable night! You looked amazing and gave a beautiful performance! Away in a Manger brought tears to my eyes... Roe has an angelic voice."

One fan took to the comments to say how talented Carey's daughter is, saying, "Such a sweet moment between you and Roe! She’s so TALENTED just like her mommy! No shock though!❤️"

Monroe, and her twin brother Moroccan, who Carey shares with ex Nick Cannon, have joined their iconic mom on stage in the past. They both joined their mom during a performance of "Always Be My Baby" during her "#1 to Infinity" Las Vegas residency, as well as a few other shows between 2017 and 2018. They also just recently joined Carey's performance during the 2022 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade where both kids festively danced behind their singing mom.

The "All I Want for Christmas Is You" singer shared a carousel of photos of the parade performance on Instagram captioning it, "Happy Thanksgiving!!!? Grateful and so proud of my beautiful kids Roc and Roe, grateful for the lambily and for the precious moments in life. ❤️❤️❤️ Now it’s reaaaallly time!!! ???"

In a sweet TikTok video posted two years ago, Monroe looks to be practicing her high notes, but then viewers see her iconic mom is behind those familiar sounding notes.  The video is captioned, "Not even 9 y/o! ❤️ #highnotechallenge" and fans loved to see it!

Many of Carey's followers had some things to say about the hilariously adorable video. "When your Mom is Mariah Carey & she's not playing your game ??," one fan wrote. Another said, "This is the best thing ever?"
